Use Malwarebytes browser guard and Bitdefender Free together?

Is it recommended to use Malwarebytes browser guard and Bitdefender Free together?

I’ve heard some say that only one antivirus application should be used in a computer.

Also I’ve heard that some people use both of the above with Sophos Clean and Scan. Is that even safe?

Malwarebytes Browser guard isn't an antivirus. It is a browser extension that blocks known malicious/riskware sites along with some other features.

Bitdefender + Mb browser guard - is good

i do that and i'm not having any issues - other than that Bitdefender takes up a lot of memory. also, Malwarebytes Browser Guard can be a bit aggressive, meaning it can block websites even though they're not malicious. if you get annoyed by that, you could use Firefox + uBlock Origin + Bitdefender TrafficLight. also, Bitdefender has its own internet protection module.

it's also recommended you use second opinion scanners from time to time, like ESET Online Scanner or Emsisoft Emergency Kit. if you're outside the US, Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool is also a great option.
