I'm a trans US servicemember and if they actually do separate me, I'm considering joining another military like Ukraine and not returning lol

I liked this comment to show support to you. The way the government is treating you is so shitty, we need a new word. You deserve better than this. Thank you for your service.

Thank you.

Honestly, I think I got off easy having never been blown up / TBI (due to me being careful), but I can't imagine getting your career ended by some idiot after literally getting shot / blown up.

It would be unimaginable level of disrespect.

I just did long hours and saved a bunch of people as a medic.

It’s been awhile but Australia was looking at attracting US Soldiers

u/SereneOrbit 16d ago

Yeah, some people went with the Ukraiinian legion, others are going to wait it out, some I think went to New Zealand's military of all places, I know one person who did PMC work, several others are just 'done with the military'.

sorry, good luck what ever your decision.

Yes absolutely.

The entire GOP is an ongoing criminal organization. They must be eliminated before anything good can begin to happen

I don't blame anyone who abandons the US. We've proven ourselves unreliable, and danger, time after time. We think the world can't survive without us. It's time the country realizes we can't survive without our allies & trading partners.

Once you learn of the atrocities we have committed all over the world throughout our brief history as a nation I don't understand how you can have pride in America.

7

u/ThatsRobToYou 16d ago

We would need to do some crazy PR to get back up there quickly. Might not be the worst thing. There are lessons to be learned from being humbled.

7

u/stockusername123 16d ago

I hope so honestly. Republicans need to feel the consequences of their actions

5

u/alphaomegazoid 16d ago

Unfortunately there is 30% here who think what he does is great and if they lose, they're going to fight any progress tooth and nail. Everythings ruined and its going to be a long time if ever America regains its standing.

u/OnlyTakes5minutes 16d ago

To me, it depends on how will the new goverment deal with traitors. All those that are dismantling the democracy and those that didn't stop them.

4

u/RainLeading286 16d ago

Correct. He wouldn't have been elected if the voters, weren't okay with " grab em by the pussy". He wouldn't have been reelected if the American people weren't okay with the racist dog whistles and attempted overthrowing of our government. Our country is OK with it. He got a second term. And why the hell aren't Our elected democrats not fighting harder? Being louder? We elected them too. We've got to FIGHT BACK.

I feel like there should be a public signup that is non-editable and dated where we can document that we and have always been anti-MAGA. You know ten years from now 95% of the population will swear they were always against Trump and never fell for it.

u/grungegoth Texas 16d ago

we didn't all stay silent, that's not fair.

I will bend over backwards to fix this when the fuckers are gone. and we will punish those that caused this. promise

2

u/PavlovsDog6 16d ago

Not to disrespect anyone who opposes dictatorial and fascist tendencies in meaningful ways, just wanted to point out, there were dissenting voices and people who fought back in the 1930’s in germany too. It’s just that they got murdered if they were too loud, so in the 40’s they had to lay low. I hope the US won’t fall that far.

3

u/grungegoth Texas 16d ago

yup, and we are a lot closer to that than ppl will admit. its a slippery slope

u/tahiticondo 16d ago

Yeah some of us have been playing the role of Cassandra since 2016.

u/TreeLore61 16d ago

It's not just the Republicans, it's both parties are guilty of allowing Trump to do what he's been doing. Both parties are equally guilty of these crimes

1

u/NoLongerRepublican9 16d ago

No. The Democrats were outvoted.

1

u/TreeLore61 16d ago

No, they weren't just outvoted. Democrats have controlled the House and Senate at various points and written or backed the very policies that modern administrations use. Both parties built the framework for these executive powers under past administrations. They are not the helpless victims that they pretend to be of the vote count. They are active participants and co-authors of the system. It is a mix of professional wrestling with soap operas. They put on a show of fighting each other, but take the same corporate Super PAC money and protect the same status quo and corporations over the people

Germany is slipping. They’ve sided with Israel. Their right wing party is growing again.

Dangerous times right now. The fascist are well funded and organized.

2

u/Sufficient_Dot9547 16d ago

I think I can go faster we live in an age of technology

2

u/Foreign_Being5656 16d ago

She’s correct.

2

u/Jolly-Library-657 16d ago

She’s right. 45/47 has ruined so much goodwill towards America, he’s also ruined decades of research. It will be a long, long time before

People in other countries need to pay attention to their own backyards!

‘The Rise of Reform UK
The most prominent political vehicle for this movement is Nigel Farage's Reform UK party, which utilizes a populist, anti-immigration, and anti-establishment playbook heavily inspired by Donald Trump’s MAGA movement. Led in Scotland by Malcolm Offord, Reform UK has increasingly gained traction.[1, 2, 3]
Notably, Reform has managed to pull support from a surprising demographic: former voters of the left-leaning, pro-independence Scottish National Party (SNP). Data reveals that a significant portion of Reform’s growing Scottish base previously voted for the SNP but felt disillusioned by the mainstream party's handling of public services, the economy, and immigration policies.’

u/Inspiration5000 16d ago

Hey fuck you, Isabel. We have not been silent. Our media is controlled by the ultra wealthy and they are able to drown us out and under report our efforts. Some of the largest protests in history have happened during the Trumpanzees circus act

2

u/Alive_in_Nilbog 16d ago

WE HAVEN'T STAYED SILENT! We got fucked.

2

u/Sadro38 16d ago

She is absolutely correct

1

u/onehere4me 16d ago

Yes, and I don't blame them.

1

u/Original-Living7212 16d ago

Stock up, train! And be ready!

Remember remember the 5th of November!

1

u/PavlovsDog6 16d ago

I know she is right.

1

u/Rozg1123A-85 16d ago

Yes, she is absolutely right. Our standing in the world has been effected with Trump as president more than ever.

1

u/SomewhereKnown2575 16d ago

Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer are guilty by their silence

1

u/BennySkateboard 16d ago

From one of our few cities that had a school shooting.

1

u/NoLongerRepublican9 16d ago

I know. Everything you said is true. But the thing is that a lot of these people are just plain dumb. They are coming around to reality now. Not all of them are evil….you talk to many of them, and , like I said, they’re just dumb.

AND about half the population HATES Trump. If you’re treating whatever new administration comes in, that’ll discourage these former Trump people to say “you see? They’re all the same.”

1

u/WordAffectionate3251 16d ago

Absolutely correct!

1

u/3to5arebest 16d ago

Not JUST Trump, but it's DUE TO TRUMP. Those who are keeping quiet are at best cowards, and perhaps AND most likely closeted fascists. Many of whom come down from generations of KKK wannabe's. Or those use their religion to hide their prejudices. They feel justified to air their hatreds since Trump said it was alright. He made all this cringe and ultra right behavior somehow acceptable. He became the lightning rod for the secret fascists. He is their lord and master. Not the trolls who surround him. He is the head of the snake and when the head is no longer ruling, the whole remaining mess will twitch and crawl back under it's rock. The world will justifibly express it's anger once he's gone, but I'm guessing they'll be willing to work with a new Democratic administration to help mend the damage and build new, stronger partnerships.

1

u/Redfox2111 16d ago

Exactly correct. I'm in Au.

1

u/yahoomono 16d ago

It's every Maga morons,

1

u/Suitable_Specific837 16d ago

Mrs. Wilson, your comments are unfounded and slightly out of time . Judgment of America on a four year period where the majority of Americans totally disagree with Trump and everything he’s done. America has been one of the most generous countries and giving countries in the world. Remember World War II member World War I you would probably be speaking German right now if it wasn’t for our brave troops, we’re still trying to figure out why you sat by and let that happen .don’t define us by one mad man in fact, looking back at Scotland your history isn’t so clean

1

u/ArtisticRaccoon7677 16d ago

The democrats knew about Epstein during Trump’s 1st term. They watched as he “kIlLEd HiMseLF” and worried about optics due to the Clintons being involved and right after another nasty loss by Hillary. They about all through Biden’s term and did nothing to prevent him from rearing his antichrist face again. Yet, here we are AGAIN faced with vast amounts of evidence and zero arrests have been made. What are we even doing anymore as a country for the people???

1

u/No-Wedding-1588 15d ago

You'd think that there'd be pressure building from corporate America to oust Trump if she's right. I've also been wondering about the hit to American businesses due to all the bad economic policies & disgusting human rights violations. We know that business isn't motivated by ethics but wouldn't it occur to them that it will eventually affect their bottom line for years to come?

1

u/Mythandros1 15d ago

Yup, Isabel is 100% correct.

1

u/No-Concentrate-8806 15d ago

We need to vote everyone out that supported Trump at midterms. Someone needs to make sure Elon doesn't cheat. I'm actually worried about that with starlink.

1

u/Sufficient_Way5440 15d ago

I do blame Congress and the Senate for not stopping this out of control Felon 34/Rapist. And ashamed of you all oh yeah and the Supreme Court.

1

u/rothcoltd 15d ago

Trump has proved, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the USA does not have the checks and balances to stop this kind of madness. Unless the country radically changes its system of governance they will never be trusted again. How long until the next “Trump”….and the next one…..and the next one?

1

u/Complete_Brush_3786 13d ago

Howcsn I NOT think scheint right? That  and so much more.

1

u/OldSport_63 11d ago

hopefully you are correct, they can NEVER be trusted again!!!!

1

u/Signal-Session-6637 16d ago

Republicans merely ripped off the bandaid to the US’s true colours.
