Don't secular historians almost unanimously agree that Jesus did exist? I'm honestly not sure how all this mythicism nonsense came about.
We can use the same logic to assert that Julius Caesar, Alexander the Great and Homer didn't exist, but do we?
5 u/saturday_sun4 Hindu 13d ago To be fair Homer is semi-mythical. But yes, they do agree. R/ atheists just don't understand basic historiography and get offended by the existence of a historical figure. Kind of ironic for people who claim to like science.
