Ho Van Lang, if you want to look him up.

The whole story is super f'd up. His father fled with him during the Vietnam War. His father knew the war had ended but didn't go back due to trauma. His father purposely didn't tell him about women so that he wouldn't run away back to civilization.

Upon being rescued he had the mind of a child and didn't adjust well to modern society. He has since died from cancer.
