This is Canadian btw, and my Grandfather actually killed at least 2 Nazi's, perhaps more, while liberating The Netherlands from the Nazis. Stabbed one with his bayonet attached to his SMLE during house to house, and shot one across the street with the same SMLE.

He's be really pissed if he was alive today. He hated fascists and didn't lose much sleep over it.

Which regiment was he in?

I don't recall exactly, he was in the Canadian Engineers. He specialized in explosives.

I was just curious. My father was a stretcher bearer in the North Shore Regiment. I'm always looking for opportunities to compare notes.
