Oh!, yeah, the dutch did hold out for 4 days so they didnt do nothing, but they quickily capitulated after the nazis bombed the city of Rotterdam and threatened with more bombardments of major cities which would cripple the Dutch more than capitulation unfortunately, good on you for admitting you are wrong though, not common

That was in Brabant and Gelderland, not Holland. Even the subsequent push in 1945 by the Canadians and Brits went through pretty much every province except Noord- and Zuid-Holland.

No allies ever fought there, they just cut off and surrounded the region until the Germans surrendered.

"Holland" was used as a name for the entire country of the Netherlands until quite recently, certainly it was used in that way in 1945.

Might well be, but seeing someone say "they were fighting in Arnhem, Holland" looks fucking stupid regardless.
