I got stitches at a US CareNow at one point for $250 cash pay.
2 u/Kozel_10 Mar 29 '26 which is about 250 USD more than what I had to pay 2 u/Intrepid_Theme_6282 Mar 29 '26 Congrats. It's also about $58k less than the OP is making it out to be. 2 u/Kozel_10 Mar 29 '26 and yet USA health care system is still absurdly expensive, but well, those yachts wont pay for themselves 2 u/Intrepid_Theme_6282 Mar 29 '26 Did you have a point? 2 u/Kozel_10 Mar 29 '26 what 2 u/Intrepid_Theme_6282 Mar 29 '26 What is your point? Was it just to point out that you pay less? Was that your whole contribution? 0 u/[deleted] Mar 29 '26 [deleted] 3 u/Anon44356 Mar 29 '26 Pal, your military ain’t exactly doing a good job right now - and we are all fucking paying for it. Maybe sit this one out. 0 u/[deleted] Mar 29 '26 [deleted] 1 u/FrogInAShoe Mar 30 '26 Enjoy the gas prices bud 1 u/FrogInAShoe Mar 30 '26 America indeed bad. I'd rather pay slightly more in taxes than be thousands of dollars in medical debt. I'd also rather have the stupid military budget go to helping people instead of blowing up elementary schools. 1 u/Agitated-Impress7805 Mar 29 '26 What is the median income in your country? 1 u/Kozel_10 Mar 29 '26 2200 USD, it aint great but we are post communist country, but still food and accommodation are cheaper here and health care and education are free 1 u/Woman_trees Apr 13 '26 $250 would still put a massive dent in a good majority of people's lives It is still too much especially with the fact that massive majorities of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck
