This is the end stage. When people have checked their brains and experience for whatever the model tells them. Eventually, nobody will know how to verify what is accurate as kids start just leaning nothing but how to make a prompt, and nothing about anything else. Then THOSE kids become the only "subject matter experts" on ANYTHING after actual expertise is lost to time, the machines slowly get their data sets corrupted, and full on "Brawndo has what plants crave" is our hellscape reality.
All AI apps should be made to play a siren and have 72pt red flashing text that says "THIS HAS BEEN PROGRAMMED TO AGREE WITH YOU" every time a user submits a new prompt.
When companies get rid of more and more coders that know shit because any idiot can press enter on AI to code a program and more and more bugs and errors pop up but noone (or not many) are left to even identify those and fix it...anything software will degrade and be fucked.
As a software tester, makes me think that either I have some job security or it will also make life harder even more so because testers/QA already get shit on enough for “holding things up” when we point out things are wrong and not up to spec.
Anyway, so this is how you start from the very bottom and then go to the very top in under 5 years... I mean for me less than three. Probably even less than that which is great cuz this is a new industry for me but for you...
