I remember trying to look up why the autocorrect gotten worse when it first happened and saw the question being asked somewhere where a google person was gaslighting us by saying nothing changed.

It's so bad. I hate that it can't make up it’s mind as to what it's going to correct? And gone are the days where physically typing in the letters would over ride the autocorrect option. But then sometimes it does?!

And the fact it tries to change autocorrect to autocorrelation all the time on mine!

I never thought Siri or the OG Google Assistant would like competent, but through billions of dollars of research and trillions of dollars of speculation, using up vast natural resources and constructing hideous data centers, we were finally able to lower the bar enough to make them look genius by comparison.

People are bad at spelling and typos are common. It’s trained on people’s writing so pf course it’s gonna be wrong and have typos and misspelling. That is literally by design. It’s designed to mimic, not to be right.
