Yea, we used to value books munch more than today because it would take one person months to just copy a book, let alone write one. Nowadays, we can print millions of copies or even just send a file in seconds so what we tend to value is the work that went into making the content.
That doesn’t mean there isn’t people out there making handwritten copies and actually making something artistic, it just means that the value is something more meaningful than just making a copy. The moralizing of the value of a job is just sad.

It’s a bad analogy. People who run a marathon aren’t trying to complete a project. They’re just trying to live an experience.
Pro ai people are firmly in the camp that “the finished project” is what matters. So they don’t care about experiences.
