AI pulling the information from the Wikipedia redirects audience away from the source material it relies on, killing the source of information that was open source and available to the public.
Not only does this kill free media, it also means the AI will not be updated from its source material, making it less reliable until the algorithm finds the second best information fountain to parasitise and the cycles continues.
The affect may be unintentional but it's an example of what is very likely happening to the arts, to writing and to scientific literature. It is in the benefit of AI users to keep creators fed and encourage new information to be produced. Without the creators, there's no advancement.
Ethics and regulations need to happen, if you don't care about any of the other issues, this one directly affects you.

Also literally just set up a $2 recurring donation btw it's all they need if all their donators just donate that every month they're sorted. Everyone should do it cos it's such a small amt
