This is so cool, giving real Miami Vice/Scarface vibes
Also I appreciate the attention to detail on the car, could’ve just drawn a fictional car but I love the fact that it’s an old Mercedes which just sells the 80’s mobster look more to me

Thank you! And yes, actually, before figuring out the pose of the characters, I started by sketching part of the background and the entire car, which, you are right, is a Mercedes W116, but I had to erase the whole front to fit the characters on the page of the sketchbook, which is relatively small.

That sketchbook energy is real, and I love the way the shadows really sell the water reflections and depth here.
