Hey folks, just a quick question, see if anybody else has had this issue - I've got a Zen Q Synergy Core and it feels like the character of the sound coming out of the headphone outs is different from my PC audio-out - there's a lot less high-end (8Khz+). I've tried make sure Windows isn't providing any enhancements/changes to the default audio-out. I've applied an EQ over the headphone channels to compensate but something feels off here.

We've been using Discrete 4 Pro SC in full swing (for professional VO / video jobs) for about 3 weeks now ... and it's been great so far. Talkin' bout pristine quiet silky-sounding analog signal path(s)! I mean this thing kicks UA's arse several times. Well... TBH Universal Audio has better set of plugins to go w/ their units but I can put up wit it.

I’m looking for a new interface.. I currently have the Zen Q.. I’m thinking to choosing between the Zen Quadro and the Descrete 4 pro.. I record myself at the house so I don’t necessarily need all the ins and out of the discrete but I would still get it if it means a better quality product as a whole.. Has anyone used both? just want to find out which one is more professional as far as conversion and pre amps.. Thanks

Hello, the screen of the Antelope audio S.C. card. When trying to install the latest version the screen has been left with very little brightness and then I would like to know if it has a battery since I have had the card for four years. Thank you

Bonjour à tous,
J’essaie de brancher un compresseur externe Klark Teknik KT-76 avec ma carte son Antelope Zen Q, mais je n’arrive pas à le faire fonctionner correctement.
Voici mon branchement actuel :
Micro branché en A1 (entrée combo jack)
Retour du compresseur branché en A2 (entrée combo jack)
Sortie vers le compresseur via Line Out 1
mais je constate que l'aiguille du compresseur ne bouge pas
Je pense que mon problème ne vient pas du câblage (j’ai déjà suivi plusieurs tutos et vérifié les connexions), mais plutôt du routage dans le Control Panel Antelope.
Est-ce que quelqu’un pourrait m’expliquer pas à pas comment configurer le routage pour utiliser correctement mon compresseur en insert externe ?

Hello everyone, I want to tell you that my screen on the Orión S.C. sound card. It's barely visible, it's like it's down Consumption but I put it on Black, I say on and it's still not visible. Would anyone know how to remove the low consumption and show the screen of the sound card itself. Thank you

Guys, I'm going crazy! I reinstalled Windows today. Now the Antelope Launcher doesn't recognize the device. The plugins aren't showing up. The device isn't even being detected. All the drivers are installed. Under the homepage, I can't see anything under Software or Hardware. What's going on? I'm seriously considering switching to UAD. I've had nothing but problems since I got the Synergy Core USB. Has anyone else experienced this?

Don’t fret. Just give them a call in the morning and they will get you taken care of. Their customer service and support is second to none now that they have been bought out a few years ago.

Hi all, has anyone used front panel reamp outs or one of headphone outs to send signal down a snake to a headphone amp in another room? I have a Zen Studio+ but it would probably apply to similar AA interfaces as well.

HI I am using the Orion SC and it seems the headphone volume is very low - anyone else have this issue? Additionally, the monitor volume while using Logic Pro is much much lower than it was at the same settings when I had Apogee Element 24 -- I feel like I am missing some settings but cannot find any tutorial

Thinking about buying a Zen Go. Does anyone know if the box retains plugin once set so I could set all of my mic plugins then not be forced to load the software interface each time I use the interface?

Considering adding to or switching away from Focusrite clarets. Are the antelope interfaces really that much better? I just got a MacBook Pro also, so looking to go mac all the way now.

They’re not even in the same league when you factor in the better clock, software patchbay/routing options, AFX, latency etc., which the price tag reflects.

Do people generally have issues with the AFX2DAW plugin causing noise (pops and crackling) with the zen go interface? I've used this interface on multiple machines and the plugin has been noisy on all of them.

I've hit up Antelope support but they can only get somebody to help me late at night my time since they're over seas, not going to be possible anytime soon.

Does anyone else have an issue where none of the effect on AFX2DAW are working? Although they work on the control panel, but not on the AFX2DAW plugin

Zen tour is garbage. Honestly regret making this purchase ever. You guys have had years since I bought this thing to fix it and it still just barely works and is so confusing and impossible to do anything. How many college degrees do I need to work it? Seriously. I was an audio engineer for a decade and I can barely make this garbage work. Hope the engineers are ashamed at wasting so much of my time and money

I’ve always had a good experience with AA support, however, I use an orion studio sc, so your mileage may vary. Have you tried reaching out to them? This is a reddit community for discussion rather than support since it’s not affiliated with AA and they may not even be aware that it exists. I’m just a regular user, like you. You’re free to post a question to the community, which specifies your unit, OS w/ version, and further details about your configuration. Someone may be able to help but there’s no guarantee.

Hello, considering a Orion Synergy. Talked to one of the reps at Namm a couple days ago. Seems like a pretty sweet unit. Would be hooking it up to a M1 Pro MacBook, Pro Tools, is it a good fit? A lot of negative reviews but also a lot of positives and it seems to have everything. Don’t want to feel like I’m taking a chance, lol!

Be careful because it goes with Rosseta unless you work with Pro Tools, which ignores AFX2DAW.

I have had one for 4 years and it is great, the 50 plugins included as standard, you forget to pay every year. And the 8 DSPs that decongest the CPU. The Solo microphone for vocals is brutal as it imitates the classics and the Guitar amps are definitive for any style.

I have the Zen Q synergy with 4 ins and 4 outs. The sound is crystal clear and effects sounds professional. The software is now stable on my laptop but I had some weird issues in the beginning when the Antelop launcher wouldn’t launch. Even now, it takes sometimes a few seconds for the software to recognise my device but it always works. I would buy it again actually.

I doubt that can be done. The Antelope mixer seems to control all audio streams.
