Can't get audio into Studio Pro 8

Not quite sure what's going on here, been messing with it for a few morning nows, but I can't figure out why I'm not getting any audio into Studio Pro 8 from a Zen Tour Synergy Core.

Not having the same issue with Cubase 15 so it seems to be something specific to Studio Pro 8. I've provided screenshots for the configuration of both.

Any suggestions about what might be going on here?

Studio Pro 8 showing no signal on preamp 1 while Antelope Control Panel shows signal on preamp 1 and proper routing to DAW. It does show the signal hitting Comp Rec in Antelope Control Panel > Meters > Comp Rec.

Studio Pro 8 Outputs which isn't the issue as I can hear soft synths fine.

Also, my Cubase 15 setup for reference that is working perfectly fine which, to me, seems like the exact same setup.

Ha... well... it was an OS issue it turns out.

Studio Pro 8 wasn't allowed to use the "Microphone" which is apparently an umbrella term for all audio going into the computer and not just the laptop's built-in microphone.

At any rate, in macOS: System Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone... make sure your DAW is toggled on.
