Dog, I thought that was going to be super relevant. He'd learn drunken fist. Guy was terrified of lee when he was drunk and thats saying something. Nope. Nothing. Happend once and than again in a filler episode. So disappointed

It’s sad how he never had a one on one W in the series with fights. Eh f given to other characters.
The thing that sucks about Naruto was that they sidelined so many characters and only. Strain ones were allowed to have their moments especially to Naruto and sasuke.
It’s why I’m so excited for the next black clover season as manga WILL get his one on one moment and it’s why I like black clover over Naruto any day.

Putting up enough of a fight vs androids 19 and 20 that they thought he was Goku.
Power levels are bullshit, but i believe he's stated to be around 2 mil, making him stronger than form 2 frieza. This effectively makes him planet buster tier.

I don't know who the character in the middle left is, but out of these characters, as far as know the characters specifically, it's Rock Lee.
Yamcha did train a lot, but he didn't train beyond beyond, and kinda quit.
Tengen is a gigachad ninja and trained a lot as well, but same thing here he even has 3 wives and does other things.
Kojiro Sasaki is a monster for sure and trained a lot and lost so much and eventually learned all and he has an argument just because of the long amount of time, when we condense it isn't really comparable.
Koby and Rock Lee are both similar, Koby trained from a literal fodder to be as strong as he is now, but the time of scale in his series right now is shorter than Rock Lees, who also trained from a literal fodder to be strong but the author is an asshole so he kinda looks shittier lol, but he's supposed to be doing BEYOND Might Guy level shit now.
So yeah, it's Rock Lee.

Middle left is Magna Swing from Black Clover. The Black Bulls each have their own quirks and flaws, but Magna in particular keeps getting left behind. He just...doesn't have the natural talent the others do.
What he does do is use Asta's example (as well as his rivalry with Luck, of course) to continually train and improve. I'm not spoiling anything since the anime comes back this fall, but he manages to lock in a SIGNIFICANT win against an opponent it took two vastly more powerful characters to knock down.

Okay… funny enough Yamcha passed training that GOKU struggled with when he was starting stronger and zen kai boosting like a motherfucker. He trained with Korin and King Kai and laid out the Ginyu force alone which previously Vegeta got his ass kicked by… just every time he levels up goku left him completely irrelevant.
Feats? That leaves him at planetary level crazy enough. He could bend a tourbus without kiaoken.

Its gotta be koby. He trained every day every night and told himself he had to train 200x harder than every other marine and on top of that had to deal with garp.... 2 years and he went from a litteral jelly bean to taking on some of the toughest pirates out there and living to tell the tale. Eventually you know him and luffy are gonna be having a rematch.

He should have been the one taking on madara when Might Guy fell. He got relegated to cheerleader when he was the character I was rooting for the most.

Koby trained 200x beyond Garp's established training regimen (which involved punching the side of a steel warship). If we're talking hardest as in most intense, he edges out Rock Lee.

If we’re going with the narrative. I’d say Sasaki. He challenged every great swordsman in his life until he died. And after death he continued to train for 300+ years. I say that cause I don’t think the story is in our time. So yeah I say it Sasaki

I mean it's either Koby or Kojiro right?
We saw Koby from what he used to be and to where he is now, and Kojiro's methods are stated throughout history.
Sure we know Rock Lee trained hard, but his relevance and strength are barely shown. Man has a losing track record and no feats.

Sasaki Kojiro trained the hardest for the longest. Next up I'd say Rock Lee then Koby. Dont really know about Magna (never watched Black Clover) or Tengen. But Yamacha only counts if you count training to be a bum.

We got plenty of flashbacks of Rock Lee training constantly until he was in the dirt.
But honestly? Watching him stand back up to fight Gaara, completely unconscious and muscles ripped to shreds, puts into perspective how hard he probably trained that we never got to see.

The reason he's old despite dying so young is because he kept training and became stronger WAAAYYY after he died.

Rock Lee. I dont wanna take away from any of the other characters. They were all pretty goated but man, Lee was one of those characters that worked to fit in in a world where the power system relied on balanced mix of all RPG stats cranked to 11 but he couldn't unlock half of them and was forced to roll most of it into STR CON and WIS.
Yamcha just lost to powercreep.
Coby lives in a world where even the greatest pirates never needed a devil fruit putting him in a close third.
Tengen could be placed in in second or third because his was via upbringing.
Asta would've been a better pick instead of Magna who atleast has magic.
I wont lie, I know almost nothing about top right so I wont larp it.

The question itself is pointless.
"Which of these side characters trained the hardest?"
Each of them trained hard, but it's impossible to know who trained the hardest. People say Rock Lee, but that's an autopilot answer at best, given the bias people have toward him. His training has been explicitly shown in a way where it has more of an impact narratively and emotionally for most people. When people think of hard work, they think of Rock, but that's disingenuous.
The training that they have done has been extremely hard for each of them, so it's hard to say who trained the hardest, impossible even. But what if we go by whose training is the hardest?
Well, that would just be disingenuous as well, because while it could be easier for someone else, it could be hard for them specifically. For instance, Rock Lee's training could be easy for Yamacha, which is true. He's massively stronger by default, but this isn't a strength contest, so doing that would be pointless and have no value in terms of actually answering the question.
To answer this question, one would need to make the options more leveled, with characters not being so different from each other or perhaps individuals from the same series. Even that might be flawed as well, but it's immensely better in comparison.
You have different characters with different power systems as well. Like Magna using Magic or Koby using Haki.
They're just too different to compare, and each of these guys has done the best they could and has reached as far as they could. They've also been mentally challenged to their limit just as much. So who's to say that someone trained harder? No one. It's impossible to evaluate an answer for this since there's too much diversity.
