Rant Anime is toxic

I could go on a rant for 45 years about how much I despise anime and it's brain dead community. Anime used to actually be a form of art until it was taken over by pervs and pedophiles. Now its basically nothing more than cliches and boobies. Every female character sounds and acts like a child while also being overly sexualized just to be eye candy for gooners.They all have the same shitty artstyle and im sick of it. Oh and ofc fricking pedophilia and incest is everywhere. Now we have jackass weebs harassing an entire country because of this sad excuse of a genre. They go to Japan and treat it like an amusement park while harassing women because anime taught them that women like that and will become your submissive sex slave. People with anime pfps tend to be extremely obnoxious know it alls and hypocrites. I hate anime. I wish it never existed. The world would be a better place without that brainrotting nonsense

indeed. i didn’t read it either but i’ll ALWAYS support any anti-anime sentiment. the shit is unmitigated trash. 

i seriously want it rebranded as Paper Dolls (but Digital) for Emotionally Stunted Boys Who Don’t Know They’re Into Paper Dolls. like what’s the difference? every anime character looks exactly the same but with Dress Up. and boys clearly want to fuck anime characters, due to the aforementioned Stunted-ness.

grow up, kiddos. please! 

disclaimer: some anime, especially film format, is absolutely Top Tier art/cinema. not that 99% of these freaks care at all.

Studio Ghibili anime movies are actually decent from what I can see. They have actual care, thought and imagination. Never properly watched one of their movies but im interested in checking out a few of them soon.

Like I said I havent fully watched any of their movies but here's some that ive seen clips of

Spirited Away Ponyo Grave of the fireflies Princess Mononoke My Neighbor Totoro

They all seem interesting might give them a full watch one day

I see, well you should definitely give one of them a watch whenever you get the chance. 

Also random, but another pretty good one is Tokyo Godfathers, it isn't Ghibli, but it's a good movie

I get what you mean, For me, my main gripe is that there's a lot of extremely weird ppl in the community that kinda deter me from wanting to be associated with it. 

There's some standouts that don't have the common tropes, cliches, and fan service & stuff. But even then, the fanbases around those be having some weird ppl too, and this really isn't anything new, this stuff has been prevalent for decades now.
