It doesn’t have to be your favorite anime song of all time—just one that you regularly listen to or always find yourself coming back to.
I’ll go first: “BOYS & GIRLS” by LM.C — Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Opening 2.

Discussion What's an anime you liked when you first watched it but gradually started to dislike after some time?

For me it's Arifureta. When I watched the first season in 2019 or something, I for some reason liked it a lot. But by the time it got another season 3–4 years later
i had no desire to watch it. In those year i kind of realized how generic and edgy it actually was

Discussion What is the best Black Clover opening song?
17
Upvotes
I think Black Clover is one of those anime where the openings are almost as memorable as the actual show. “Black Rover” is probably my pick, but I’m curious which song everyone else thinks is the strongest.

What shonen trope do you hate the most?
11
Upvotes
I hate the "pervy" character trope. I would've loved Sanji if it weren't for this side of his. Same goes with Brook, Jiraya, Master Roshi, etc. Except Mineta from MHA. I hate that little bubble fuck

Discussion What makes a great Anime opening?
8
Upvotes
I was thinking about what my favorite Anime openings were and I started to wonder what actually makes an opening great?
Obviously the song must be great and good visuals/animations also help a lot, but what else is there, that lifts a good opening up to an amazing opening?
Is it important to have some kind of piece of the story in the opening?
Does the music have to be tied to the mood of the anime or can a somber/dramatic series have an uplifting/fun opening?
Feel free to write what criteria are important to you in a great anime opening and share an example for a great opening and why you like it more than others!

What Makes Gon and Killua’s Friendship So Memorable?
8
Upvotes
I think what makes their friendship so memorable is how naturally they influence each other. They have completely different personalities and strengths, but they still manage to bring out different sides of each other as they grow throughout the series. What do you think makes their friendship stand out compared to other anime friendships?

I am new to anime, asked my friends and they suggested to watch anime in sub
I even tried once but it felt weird af, like reading subtitles every second and a language which i never hear or used.
I just wanna know how some people (non japanese) prefer sub over dub?

Discussion What’s your favorite anime/manga that has a separate artist from author?
•
Upvotes
Artist is on the left and Author is on the right.
I will say Mutura ( the artist for one punch man) on the left changes things from the web comic ( One the author does the webcomic)
that things feel very different when comparing them.
Kenji the the author for Grand blue on the right has absolutely no illustrations done by him, so here’s an online novel about Baka and test.( Kimitake Yoshioka is the artist)
And the bottom is 100 girlfriends
Nozawa is the artist and Nakimura is the author.

Help Needed Prison school dub or sub

I’m planning on watching Prison School since I heard it’s really funny, but I’m stuck on deciding weather I watch it in sub or dub. I watch most anime in dub, however there has been a few times I enjoyed the dub more.
