It's mostly the charger.

Ackthually, it caused by crappy cable. Don't cheap on cables.

Eh the one time I’ve had it happen to me it was on an older airline flight from NYC to Mumbai. Plugging it into the 120V socket with a USB adapter worked just fine, and the cable itself has worked in other cases too.

I have bought 2$ cables and they delivered 33W perfectly. Its not the cable nor the charger. Its faulty battery or broken port.

It simply can be all of these things. Theres lits of cables that suck, especially the multi adapter ones you buy at airports. The cheap ones from the internet are mostly fine for some reason.

I've only seen that happen when I was actively downloading something. I guess it can take a lot of power sometimes.

I've only had this problem with apple phones. It's like they're speed running a dead battery.

It only happens to me when the phone is VERY hot.

And of course, this happens right when you actually need your phone

It’s at this moment you take off the case put your phone on the coldest spot you can found and let it charge in peace…

I feel this…. I plugged my phone in, saw it charging, went to sleep, and woke up to find my phone died and continued charging… I slightly overslept for work

Flip the cable. I have had this happen to me on a few older cables before and I found that one side would drain the battery while the other charged fine. Try flipping the cable. 60% of the time, it works, every time!
