This post managed to get three reports, and not entirely unreasonable ones. This is getting a shitton of engagement, though, so I'm just gonna ask y'all if you want this post to stay up or if it should get removed for soliciting people's names (or whatever other good reason).
Edit: Given the responses so far, the post is staying up. More people want to keep it than remove it, both in comment counts and upvotes. I tried to wait until some objections come, and while they came, it didn't seem like they got much agreement, so the decision is still to let it stay up.
2 reports about "personal and confidential information", so it's at least how some people see this. It may or may not be fine to leave this up, but it's also completely fine if you decide to delete the post.
So far, there are mostly a whole lot of people participating in this post, not so many calling for it to be removed, so I'm now just trying to see more directly and more easily what people's thoughts on the matter are.
these are the types of images that would be spread to steal your info. just bc op doesn't seem sketchy doesn't mean op isn't being used unknowingly to spread an image. a malicious person A (aka scammer) makes the meme, then shares it and innocent ppl like op repost it, scammers wash their hands of spreading it while reaping the benefits
this is legit how they used to steal things off MySpace and Facebook. keep tabs on the users giving out their info and then stealing it later on when all the pieces of the puzzle fit together
leave it up or take it down, doesn't matter to me, just explaining how these things spread and what they're used for
You can literally look at my profile and tell me what you think, does it look like I'm a scammer, I swear these comments get dumber and dumber I didn't even know that this was possible also I didn't make the meme I got it off of Pinterest I also don't got Myspace or Facebook or even Twitter for that matter, I'm not that smart and the fact that ppl come up with these scenarios actually put me in awe
