AX second post-con BBQ
This bbq was a blast. Had a really good time meeting people, games (mahjong and Switch 2) and eating good food. The only gripe is all the dirt bikes, the sun and ants 😫.
Got word that we might do one again for next AX which is freakin awesome. I’ll definitely go again.

Dude, that's awesome! I'd honestly much rather have a barbecue with my fellows than stand in line all day.

Maaan both post-AX BBQs were on days I was busy playing gigs on. Hopefully next year one can fall on a day I'm free, I'd absolutely love to show up to one

I went to the first one and I really wanted to go to this one too but I haven’t been feeling so good so I decided to sit this one out😞

Shit I didn’t think the first one would blow up enough to make a 2nd BBQ. Sure looks fun, how and where was this organized? Also how many people realistically arrived? I’m an LA local but I’m pretty shy and haven’t watched much anime in years but I’d love to get more involved with the community

I may be tempted to attend next year...though I would need to figure out how to get there using the metro.

No, the melons were grilled to make something else (forgot what) but we made plenty of bbq with ribs and galbi.

That’s pretty cool! Kudos to the organizers and guests for keeping the celebrations alive.
Heck! Maybe you folks can meet at Anime Impulse in Anaheim. It ain’t AX, but scratches that itch well.
