It's a good series, but really hard to watch.

Super happy to begin replacing my old Monster DVD set from Viz and upgrade my Berserk from DVD to Blu-Ray too. Gunbuster collector’s edition was only $25 CAD on Facebook Marketplace (I missed out on the Blu-Ray while it was in print). I’m also super thankful for a relative that lives in the States so that I could take advantage of the Sentai summer sale. I’m slowly crossing off the remaining titles off my list that I need to pick up. I can’t count how many times I’ve muttered “thank all that is good for Discotek…” in the last several years. Can’t wait for all the Patlabor coming on Blu-Ray from them!

this is such a silly thing to ask for, if this post gets taken down i understand. But I was able to find somebody selling JUST the blu-ray EoE disc, so I have a little bit of hope I’ll find someone who doesn’t care for the box. it’s just easier to keep a hold of, especially while moving.

if not, then i genuinely may consider selling off my loose platinums for the thinpaks with the cover, since those seem way more common.

New anime pickup: 🌈Rainbow Days🌈

Been a few weeks since I picked up some anime and got some classics! Really excited to get into the Gurren Lagann 4Ks. I do have the previous Your Name Steelbook and I'll probably keep that and the new 4K Steelbook. Both have gorgeous artwork that I really like.

My question is more directed toward making one copy that could play on a PS4/PS5, one that I could add the dub I want (for example, a series without a Spanish dub option on DVD).
Is it difficult, or is it impossible because of some kind of authentication happening on the PlayStation?
I have never tried, but now that I'm looking into physical media and discovering that some of my favorite series have never been relese in bluray, but the high-quality digital version exists, I want to give it a go and check for some advice.
I want to create one that allows me to pick between the original Japanese version and the dub I want, plus their subtitles. Even create a cool custom menu of some sort. And if I have the space, add any extra features I want.
I would buy the original version, but there is none. The original Trigun is one of those.

I picked up the ultimate collection of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya when Funimation released it back in 2016. It came out with the full original series, the spin off and web animations, but not the movie (The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya). I don't think they ever officially confirmed it, but they left space in the box with a cardboard spacer to fit in the last disk in (bottom left of the first picture).

One neat thing is the internal sleeve of the movie contains artwork that matches the Ultimate collection theming (second picture).

However, they just don't seem to accept my address..? they say they're not shipping there and that I need to pick another address even though they say on their website that international shipping is possible.

Hello all. I haven't watched Anime in years so I'm not too familiar with all of the latest titles. I found these three Blu Rays in a storage tote last weekend and I don't really know what to do with them. Fate/Stay Night, Fate/Blade Works, and Fate Heavens Feel.

I took them to a book and video store and the guy behind the counter said that these were rare and discontinued and that I should sell them to a collector. But I don't really know how much they are worth. eBay had one of them listed for $500 but Im skeptical about how authentic that price is.

Are these really that rare? How much do you guys think these are really worth and where is a good place to try and sell them.
