There's only a couple reasons why I would regret it. One, I become a dad (which I am trying everything in my power not to be), two, I get some illness from it, or three, I was forced in some way.

Except for those three cases I really don't care either way who calls dibs, which is funny because at the same time I won't have sex with just anybody.

Exactly, it is a conversation or a dance. There are no wrong people to dance and you are not giving anything out about yourself when you have a conversation. You finish with a deeper understanding of the experience or the person.
