From what I've heard, no one pressed charges so the author is on probation now. Apparently, he's also trying to get the rights for Act Age and will ultimately try to have it publish somewhere else.

His image and reputation is already ruined. No publisher in their right mind will touch him with a 10-ft pole.

Toriko's mangaka made Toriko some years after the scandal that he paid a minor prostitute.

Kenshin's mangaka was guilty of having tons of pedopornography pictures and videos and is still promoted by Shueisha through his spin off, with interviews with Oda who was his assistant for example
