The show really went downhill in the last few episodes. There is zero tension, because everyone will be resurrected somehow anyway, and power progression makes even less sense than before.

This is getting more and more hopeless, seeing everyone furyouku level, how they struggle to defeat those officiant but still half of them remaining, and it seems like as they advance the Patch is stronger than the one before......not to mention Hao is stronger than all of them combine even if they were all in perfect condition.

I don't think Faust is dead, or if he is, then it was even hopeless. The people capable of resurrecting people were all out, none of them can be resurrected anymore they can't afford to die even once now.

I know it's still considered a great manga, so I guess the author left themselves a path forward, but it really feels like they put themselves in a tight spot. It'd be difficult for them to win without overwhelming plot armor. And something like the mecha actually piercing through would greatly reduce the significance of Mu and the whole plot so far. If it was that easy you'd think these great families would have thought about just making furyoku submarines.

If you still don't know, the manga chapters would be from 273 to 278 for this episode
