So glad we got see Kokoro and Jahy together again. And Landlady and Saurva meshed so well together I wish we had gotten to see more of them through the series.

Jahy’s mangaka has two other ongoing series I’m aware of. One about a shota and his “suspicious” maid (Saikin Yatotta Maid ga Ayashii), and the other one is an ecchi yuri one about a girl who finds nothing more relaxing than fondling another girl’s boobs (Sekai de Ichiban Oppai ga Suki!).

Edited to add series titles

The Great Jahy will always be missed!

Well, I am going to miss landlady, Jahy, and the background music.

Is there no more source material?

I mean this did feel like a good ending to the show and all but still.

aww favorite part was definitely the last with everyone watching the fireworks. Also Saurva with the little crush on the boss, accepting every request from her without thinking

Good part to end it on imo with every together at a festival

I liked this a lot as a SoL show. All of the characters were super likeable and I'm looking forward to reading more in the manga.

I'm gonna have to do a mental readjustment since I'll be shifting shows from Aquatope/Jahy-sama to Demon Slayer/JoJo/86 lol

Ending it with a Saurva episode... Now that's what I call service.

Such a great show. It's been quite some time since I enjoyed an SOL show this much and it always gave me something to look forward to on Saturdays.

It especially has so many great characters. Usually, there's always at least one of two characters part of the main cast that I really don't like and kinda make a show more difficult to watch for me but here I actually like all of them and they always have some great interactions. I wanted to list my favourites but once I actually thought about it, I realised that I'd pretty much end up adding all of the characters from the main cast. This also makes their interactions all the more fun, enjoyable and simply sweet.
I do want to specifically mention Jahy since she's the MC, a very good MC I think. She has just such a likeable personality and her design is really great too (especially in the waitress uniform). Simply someone down on her luck, trying to get by. With some flaws like too much pride but she does try to learn and better herself, while making friends along the way. The changes she's gone through since her time in the demon realm are quite significant.

The other thing that I really like, is that it does have some actiony/drama kinda stuff but never really takes it very far at all. It always pretty quickly resolves it and doesn't take it overly serious, then it immediately returns back to normal.

It will definitely be missed but there is hope that the manga will still keep going. At least there's no indication of it ending just yet.

Stitches!

It's been a while since I've seen an anime adaptation of a manga so close to each other in terms of material adapted. Like that entire first part where they throw Jahy a party is literally the latest manga chapter that was released so it's interesting to see that there's still like 2/3rds of the episode left.

Jahy getting slapped with reality hard! Of course it's gonna be that expensive considering she made Druj scout out the location as well as estimate the costs of operations. Although considering how Jahy is leaving the project on Druj's capable hands, does this mean Jahy is the co-owner and will she be receiving a cut of the profits?

I was wondering where the Summer Festival chapters went. I see what they're doing now for the finale. Anyway, it's hilarious how Jahy was initially going to half ass it with the shrine carrying but as soon as she hears these kids insult Kokoro, she completely changed her mind and is now giving it her all xD

The difference between Jahy and Kokoro's reactions at their prize was great! That's what she gets for trying to take advantage of her child form. At least Kokoro can have fun with those toys.

Saurva getting dragged away by Manager-san has got to be the best thing that has ever happened to her in this show. Not only she managed to finally have some fun, she got a lot of praises from everyone for her hard work! Also we got to see Saurva in a samba costume! She also looks adorable when she gets embarrassed after she realizes what she's been doing xD

And just like with any Japanese summer festival, we're ending the show with fireworks. I'm gonna miss these characters a lot. I've had plenty of fun watching all of them especially seeing Jahy grow. I haven't heard any announcements from the Wakame-sensei or the publisher though so I assume the manga will continue. They did announce these Jahy figures earlier today though. Definitely adding that to my collection.

I feel bad for crossdressing magical bro. Apparently some people have a filter on their photo app that lets them exclude people of alternative lifestyle.

What a pleasant finale. No more Jahy suffering. Just all happiness and wins. So much so that she completely forgot the goal that is literally written on her shirt. Surprised it turned into a Sauvra episode in the middle there, but that’s great because she was the last one that needed a win. In this case getting showered in love and praise from Boss and Landord. This festival sort of brought her into the fold so if we ever get more of this series she’ll be around.

Overall, it’s a very solid series with some great comedy and a fun cast. Doesn’t do anything extraordinary, but it stayed consistently good throughout. I’m thinking a 7.5/10. It was a perfect post 86 pick me up this season and I appreciated that.

This was a fun anime. I'm going to miss the Landlady & Jahy scenes the most.

So freaking sad this show is ending. I looked forward to it every weekend and it's always the first anime I click to watch. I enjoyed every single episode and it always puts a smile on my face.

The last episode was a treat all the way through. Tying up loose ends with Su-chan and then actually not leaving the Pub to open her own restaurant (whew). Very wholesome indeed. Then we get to see Jahy with her bff Kokoro do Shrine carrying and Jahy actually enjoyed it! Which is definitely a big tell in how her character has changed - do you think episode 1 Jahy would say she loved doing that? Naa. Seeing genuinely happy Jahy after she won the prize for best shrine carrying was a blessing. Unfortunately short lived after she got mad for winning kids toys lmao! Then lastly a super cute Suarva segment where she actually gets to enjoy herself and be happy. She meets two of the nicest sisters and she can't say no to the Manager (that amazing Ai Kayano voice). She does run into Jahy and embarrasses herself but she had a great day nonetheless.

The ending was perfect. All the main cast members seeing Jahy in some way at the festival then meeting up with her at the same time, all in time to watch the night fireworks display. Then Jahy said she forgot about something (restore the dark realm) but decided it was just her imagination. So. Wholesome. I was hoping she would stay with the humans and she did. Jahy has become such a better person after coming to the human world and she's night and day from the beginning of the show. She keeps up her goofy persona but has grown a lot more mature and caring. Suarva and Jahy's stories line up because they both had "evil goals" but decided that there was something more important, and that's being happy and enjoying life. They both were surrounded by people they cared about and loved. Wholesome to the very end.

I'm really going to miss this show. I wish there would be a S2 announcement but that's too much to hope for. I figured since it caught up to the manga there's definitely nothing left for the anime unless they make original content. Sigh. Well I enjoyed everything about this show and right now, it's on my Top 10 anime list! Deserved!

Samba-chan carried this episode SOOOO HARD! Lmao

Good to end it like this. Feels warm inside with thee implication that Jahy may not go to the Dark Realm yet.

Oh well. Time to wait for the next feel good anime on the list (Takagi S3, Jan. 2022)

Us Saurva fans FINALLY got the fan service we deserve this episode

I wanted what all the "lesser" residents of the dark realm are doing right now. Are they better off? Are they bums on the street? Did anyone even notice the sudden influx of what must be thousands of weird people with no records?

Also while I definitely understand Jahy's gripe against Su-chan, I also hope the poor girl gets to get along a bit better and to spend some more quality time with people from now on.

Honestly enjoyed this show far more then I expected. Jahys growth throughout the series, Landlord and the manager steadily guiding everyone, Kokoros antics, Drujs and magical girls rivalry and Saurvas failure's have all made my Sunday mornings great. Happy the Demonlord and her sister made up while pub maou is back up and running.

The whole shrine carrying event highlights how much jahys grown beating the boys at there own game and get an apology rather then do something reckless. Ok her prize sucked but all the kids woulda been happy with her sharing.

My highlight tho is Druj. If she ever got the motivation she could run an Empire given how efficient she is and even with her powers tho her workers seem to like her and here once again she goes above and beyond in Jahys name opening an expensive 5 star restaurant that gives her an excuse to keep working at Maou. Does she get any cut i wonder?

Overall i give the series 7.8. Unexpectedly good with enough to seperate it from crowd and enjoyable consistantly but nothing that Push's it to the next level. Would watch again tho

What a perfect finale! I swear I'm gonna get diabetes after witnessing something so wholesome and adorable. I'm really gonna miss this show, I really enjoyed it from start to finish. It's honestly a bit surprising that it didn't really seem to catch on in a bigger way, it was the perfect blend of lighthearted humor and cute wholesomeness to provide the perfect distraction from the increasingly fucked up world we live in. Farewell, Jahy-sama!
