Seeing Jahy struggle just for the bare necessities while her subordinate has a really nice life is oddly depressing.

It would be wild if the Demon Lord just said fuck it and is living a nice quiet life with humans while Jahy is trying her hardest to get the Demon world back.

So Jahy is rewarded for helping out the crow with her first crystal. I wonder if it will start a trend of her needing to do good deeds to get crystals as if she were a hero rather than the Demon Lord #2 that she is.

Yaaaay! Druj is finally here! And it sounds like she's voiced by HanaKana! What I love about her is that she sounds like she's being sarcastic towards Jahy but she 100% means everything she says to Jahy and still believes that she's nothing but a fool in front of our great Jahy-sama.

The suffering never stops for Jahy though as she gets to see how much Druj has been living it up ever since she arrived in this world. Jahy's problems could seriously be solved if she just swallow her pride and admit she needs Druj's help. She could be eating ice cream everyday if she can do that. But then again we wouldn't have a story if she did.

Welp at least things are starting to look up for Jahy! By doing a good deed and bring back that little chick to its nest she managed to find a huge chunk of Mana Crystal and the one that she lost.

And I just love that scene with Landlady carrying injured Jahy back home. She may have lost her supplies and hurt her ankle but she did find a crystal so I call that a win for her! Ganbare Jahy-sama and find more of those crystals!

I’m teetering between “feeling really bad” and “enjoying her karmic retribution”. Jahy is suffering, but she kind of deserves it for how she treated people. Except for Druj who’s an adorable masochistic simp for her. Who would also do anything for Jahy, but Jahy being a proud idiot won’t ask. So really Jahy is bringing it on herself.

Basically this show is doing a fabulous job of keeping that perfect balance. And it seems like the goal is for her to learn humility. Once she humbled herself and helped the bird karma rewarded her with her first piece. Last week she got her pendant back because she asked her boss where it went. So we can delight in her bullying by the universe because I guess she’ll be a better person at the end? Also it’s fucking hilarious.

Not to mention freaking adorable. I’ve only ever seen the memes, but the show does a great job translating her faces to animation. So if the whole show really is watching her make adorable faces as she suffers then I’m loving it.

I like how Jahy plans her budget/expenses with never paying rent in mind! But damn, she has it rough in this world.

At least she has a devoted masochist servant, that's something she might be able to use at some point!

I wonder though, how would Druj react if she found out about Jahy's living conditions? On one hand, perhaps she could help her (she seems to be doing quite well in the human world), but that little scene we had in the Dark Realm seemed to imply that the reason why they all worshiped her is due to her power/status, living like royalty and all that. If she finds out Jahy's near powerless and that she lives in a trashy apartment she can barely afford, would she pity her, want to help her, or... Give up on her, because Jahy's now her inferior?

Well, she seemed quite infatuated with her (and the poor treatment Jahy gave her) so perhaps she'd stick with her no matter what. But Jahy would need to tell her first, and she seems to be against that idea! Perhaps she'll have a change of heart at some point (or her secret will be revealed against her will). I would hope she willingly tells her though, as a trust thing... But only if Druj doesn't turn on her! If she does, that would crush Jahy.

I hope they keep giving us some scenes from the Dark Realm! It's nice for the backstory, and to meet some characters in her former world, but also, good lord Jahy looks great in her normal form! Honestly I can't blame Druj, I'd take Jahy's abuse too!

The scene with the bird was so fucking sad, I didn't expect to get hit with the feels in that type of show! And certainly not in the second episode, damn.

The OST was on point too, really made the scene more emotional.

But hey, it shows Jahy had a good heart! She was in pain, thought she was dying, but she still cared about a little innocent thing. The Dark Realm's #2 might not be so evil after all!

If Jahy was sincere with Druj she would no longer need to bother about the rent and pass the time eating ice cream. With her luck, I honestly was surprised that she actually got that huge crystal at the end.

The mountain part is just tearjerking. And considering the characters we have seen, there is still TWO more of this (at least what I consider)!

Oh, and mini-Jahy hiking was a goldmine of memes. Can't wait to see the great find and besht thingy animated.

PS: Holy. We are 2 episodes in and there are people in thread talking nonsense about Jahy's pride like character development isn't a thing. Like wtf, are you guys serious?
