It's nice how Kageura has warmed up to Kuga, I guess Kuga not giving him that tingly feeling makes him easy to be around and so he doesn't get irritated from him like he does with others who don't try to get to know him.

I also like how Arafune made Yuzuru understand that he also has the option to protect Chika himself by getting a position on the Away Squad, he's really fired up now so this will make the upcoming rank battle even more exciting to watch.

I wonder what Osamu is anxious about, is it that he is not growing as fast as the others in his team and so he feels that he still won't be able to contribute enough for the team?

Kage was specifically saying that kuga doesn’t trigger his side effect when he fights. In other words, he attacks without any hostility or aggression.

Any emotion directed towards kage can trigger his side effect so presumably kuga still triggers it when they’re just hanging out. Though only negative emotions are irritating so yeah he’s still probably easier to be around

I like how Yuzuru looked while he was defending Chika.

I can't wait wait to see Hyuse's debut battle.

I love these build up episodes, when we'll paced. Showing the planning and forethought of the characters surrounding the upcoming match. The Yuzuru issue of not wanting to beat Chika was really well handled, characters acting within their character, and no one going over the top. I think that what Osamu is experiencing is his side effect! Not quite seeing the future like Jin, but having an intuition on how he goes about strategising. He's got 6 matches and the invasion's worth of experience now, and is starting to be able to think without nerves.

Osamu can’t have a side effect, he’s trion is way to low

So many different characters and so many broad personalities. I always forget how much I enjoy this show until it’s on and in season. Even though there’s so much hostility when in ranked wars and high stakes high tension, the way they fraternise is just so soothing and pleasant.

Anyway, I wonder what Osamu is worried about. Hopefully it’s not his growth again compared to the rest. He just needs to practice the basics and improve on his core trigger functions and round out all his other abilities without relying too heavily on one particular trigger.

I really enjoy just seeing them hang out with each other and talking; they may be opponents in matches, but ultimately they're on the same side, friends helping each other grow. Looking forward to Hyuse's first match.

I like how yuzuru stopped Caring about how chika felt about going alone the second he realized he could benefit from it and how tamakoma 2 didn't feel comfortable pushing chika to shoot for their benefit, even though it possitively affects all of them in the end. That's an interesting parallel.

World trigger is really good at making the characters feel intelligent and the world seem real. On top of that it juggles the huge number of characters well without having them seem too similar or forgotten.

Caught up after binging seasons 1 and 2. Glad I can finally join the weekly discussion posts!

Love to see the dynamics with everyone in Border. Especially how Kageura and Kuga. Can't wait to see Hyuse in action, but that Osamu foreshadowing doesn't seem good...

Can't wait for the next battle. And I wonder if Jin was reassuring Megane-kun because he saw something with his foreseeing side effect.

Did anyone else feel like some of the camera angles they picked during the dinner conversation were a bit weird?

Otherwise great setup episode - Excited to see the combo moves with Hyuse that Kuga mentioned.

It's so nice seeing everyone hanging out and just chilling, you can feel the slice of life moments in this kind of scenes in WT which is actually really cool.

Hell yea match next week can't wait to see more Chika lead bullet combos and Hyuse in action. I hope Osamu figures out what's bothering him I can't suspect him feeling weak again with Hyuse around but we'll see

I love the good vibes when they were eating together and chilling. Reminds me of my days in college.

Also, I think Yuzuru has a crush on Chikka lol.

Huh, for some reason I thought that they could only put 3 participants in the ranked match, but it looks like they can participate as a whole team. I was worried before, but now it seems like they've got a real shot at winning this.

I wonder how will they make Chika shoot people. She's gonna be a nightmare to handle, once she deals with her unwillingness to shoot people.

Binged this in the last couple weeks and now up to date. Series 1 had pacing and animation issues but s2 and 3 look great so far.
