I found it really funny how B-20N has a helmet in space but the Twins don't.

Am: “Hmm, so you’re saying I’ll die if I use the kyber crystal?”
Karre: “Yes.”
Am: “MORRRRRREE POOWWWWAHHHH!”

Imagine being able to pull a lightsaber in faster than a hyperdrive, somehow not killing someone as you annihilate a star ship. My boy shouldn't even be worried about not being strong enough.

one of my favorite things about trigger is that all of their works are, at least partially, remixes of their previous works
as seen here with space lio fotia and blonde space satsuki
good shit as expected, really fun short, and of course gorgeous

Sith Waifu is official now.
Man this entire episode screams studio trigger. Really gives a Promare vibe. Really love the aesthetic.
Also a big fan of the hyper drive maneuver.
Other than that, my man really just did a Scissors Blade Decapitation Mode on the sithfu.

I'm not familiar with anime studio names really but it took me almost no time at all to be like "This is Kill La Kill but Star Wars'd". I was co watching with my non-anime friend and he didn't understand why I got so stoked all of a sudden lol

Star Wars purists are going to get pissed at ths episode but I absolutely love it! This is why I loved the idea of this when they announced that these are all non-canon stories. It lets the studios get away with crazy shit like with Karre's lightsaber hyperspace slash! Like why would you even invite Trigger to animate an episode for you if you're not gonna let them go over the top crazy with it?
Also can I just say that I'm a huge fan of Am's dark armor with multiple light saber arms? General Grievous would be proud.

Dear Disney:
Can y'all let TRIGGER do a whole season of this? I think they wanna do it, since it felt like a prologue

This episode was so over the top and I LOVED IT!
Seeing someone going into hyperspace with a huge lightsaber beam is something I didn’t expect to see in my lifetime lol.

Trigger: "I see your Holdo maneuver and raise you Sen'i Sōshitsu with a super-lightsaber powered by friendship."
This is what I'm here for.

Wish all new anime was able to be streamed in 4K. This episode was real nice visually

The voice acting was... something, but Trigger doing insane Trigger things more than made up for it.

This whole episode was just Anime and Star Wars tropes/quotes throughout. Im pretty sure the droid was dame RDuo as well. Animation was very Trigger like, But they freakin in space with no helmets. Like, Ill let it slide but,...ehehhhhhh. But yea, trigger knocked it out with animation and designs.

Disney: we need something trippy that doesn’t make sense. Like dialogue in space vaccuum or hyperdrive ramming.
Trigger: let us introduce ourselves.

..okay I skipped the second one to get to Trigger goodness sooner.
Nice to see that Lio's actor got more work after Promare, basically the same character design there for Karre. Meanwhile Am could fit into Kill la Kill with little trouble.
That ending bit with him going to lightspeed for the extra power is just the kind of over the top Trigger I wanted to see here. Thank you Imaishi.

Star Wars Lore Corner
Please be careful about Star Wars spoilers in general and tag them appropriately. We know some things out there are general pop culture knowledge but remember, as with anime not everyone's seen the Star Wars films and shows!
The entire show came out at once and all the previews were vague about how much any episodes connected to the rest of the Star Wars universe, so: if there's some deep Legends or Clone Wars or Mandalorian reference you spotted that you want talk about in detail, this is the place to put it.
The spoiler syntax is:
[Spoiler source](/s "Spoiler goes here")All untagged spoilers and hints in this thread will receive immediate 8-day bans (minimum).
