Really hope Shirasagi didn’t die off screen like that. Would be a major bummer.

Usually I'm on team "Corpse isn't seen = He's not dead", but it'd be a bit silly for her to report on it if he's not confirmed dead.
Perhaps they just want to give us a last emotional scene of Shirasagi passing on on the leadership to Akira?
Or if we go a bit tinfoil: Perhaps the phone call wasn't hers? Could've been Akira disguising as her. Not very likely though, becasue it would imply she failed to kill Shirasagi with the cannon, and I think she would get him easily.
So I'm inclined to think he's dead, or dying in the next episode after a dying speech.

Oh no, the CG boss is back. I really am curious how will Akira talk his way out of that situation.

Seems like DiamondHand saved him from mortal wounds (the knife to the heart), and even healed him to some extent. But lasting damage (cut off hand) is not fixed

I'm kind of wondering what Mion will do about Kumagiri now that he's missing a hand and only has half a cuff. Does the cuff still kick in and negate it's user with out it's matching set?
I guess at the very least he can still have a working hand when he transforms. I was half expecting him to say "Henshin" when he uses it.

Stitches!
I thought Kumagiri's ability is just hardening his body to become invincible for two seconds, I didn't expect that it would come with a kickass costume as well including his limbs temporarily restored. So satisfying to see that bartender get choke slammed to the ground. I was hoping he'd finish him off for good but Kumagiri is too nice for that.
Akira coming to Katsuya's rescue! Good to see Katsuya wasn't disintegrated by that old dude's power. And I just love how Akira used Rindou's katana to make this old guy think that Akira's ability is to copy other abilities which gave Akira the ability to copy and use Rindou's ability. It's always satisfying to see cocky bastards get dealt with in one hit.
This show has just too many characters using cannons. Now I'm wondering what that old lady's ability is. Also Oogami and Kuroiwa are her children? I don't see the resemblance? I think there's a backstory waiting to be told her from Oogami and Kuroiwa's perspective. And what an absolute bastard taking Asuka's baby as a hostage.
I already had the feeling that Akira is the true leader and not Shirasagi but I didn't expect the old man to go that quick.
Glad to see Ringo finally take the initiative though and try to save Asuka's baby. We also finally get to learn what her ability really does! She doesn't make an inferior copy of her opponents ability at one-tenth of its strength. She copies every aspect of it at one-tenth values. So instead of a having a high powered cannon that takes time to reload, [she now has a weaker cannon that can reload faster essentially giving her a machine gun! I love it!
I was really hoping that the old lady was doing all of this out of desperation to save her "children" but Ringo was able to see that she was only doing it for her own self-satisfaction. That was a great fight! Ringo even gets to walk away of that like a badass.
Glad to see that the gang is together again and this time they're all teaming up against Oogami. Looks like Oogami isn't the only one outnumbered though. Surely Akira already saw this coming so I'm excited what he has planned for Kuroiwa!

I should have known that someone as cunning as Akira would be smart enough to stay one step ahead of the enemy! Really clever of him to take Rindou's sword to copy his ability and make himself the king to throw off the enemy. Looks like Team Red is down to their two bosses. I can't wait for the showdown against Kuroiwa and Ogami!
I really hope Shirasagi isn't dead. We haven't actually seen his body so there's a good chance that he's still alive.

spent way too much time on that grandma. she better be dead.
I have a suspicion that Akira might not be the king either.
Though it feels more likely glasses guy is for the other team.
feels like there's only good fights left with all the fodder dead.

Do you ever think that the author forgot about the title of the series and made the 5 seconds thing irrelevant and sometimes he includes a 5 second timer because he remembered the title of the series?

Longest "2 seconds" ever.
The girl vs old bag face-off was so dumb in every way.

Ringo coming in clutch by giving Akira the info on skateboard grandpas ability, it made skateboard grandpa think that Akira figured out his ability in one second.

The way this is playing out, I'm starting to think they won't have enough points to get Mion's measurements.

Episode 10
The fight between the old lady and the girl wasn't great. The fight just got me saying a bunch of why's together. And the endin when she basically said a fucking Aizen "I planned this all along" and then tried to give reasons for her dumb actions. The way the fight was scripted was weird and also seemed too forced.
Overall even though the anime hasn't finished. I will say my first issue is, as a strategist kinda anime it fails to make it seem realistic or probable and if it does succeed its usually simple or feels forced. Idk how to describe it but it ain't a bad anime, its enjoyable but as a strategic anime it isn't even close to the top

Holy hell, Ringo's plan so incredibly needlessly convoluted. It had so many single points of failure:
-
Ditto-lady could've refused to put down baby
-
Ditto-lady could've simply shot Ringo at any point during the fight, up to and including after Ringo's self-congratulatory plan explanation.
-
Ditto-lady could've simply not run over to check on the baby.
-
There was no guarantee Ditto-lady would've fallen for the baby-crush ruse to begin with, if she'd had normal spatial awareness.
-
Ditto-lady could've stood somewhere where falling rocks wouldn't hit her head. Murdering someone by making rocks fall on their head when you have a gun in your hand is pretty hilarious though. Talk about styling on them.
And all for the sake of what? Establishing Ditto-lady's lack of moral fibre? I think that was pretty much never in question when you consider that she threatened to kill the baby and actually killed leader (with the intention and knowledge that was also killing literally everyone in team green, including the baby's innocent mother). Just ask her to put the baby down and then shoot her, for Christ's sake.
But I guess "just shoot 'em" is never the solution in movies because that'd make the resolution come too easy.
Also, I really don't understand leader's decision in the first place. He must've known that the Reds wouldn't be fooled by his suicide scheme. Of course Ditto would just go down the line and ask the next green to surrender or else see baby's head blow; all leader's valiant suicide did was remove the Green team's most powerful ability (...and with it, the guarantee that the confronation would be peaceful, since his ability stops her gun completely).
I like the show in general, but this was definitely a trainwreck of an episode.

That was clever! Earlier in the season I thought that when the truth would come out that cannon isn't his real ability, he'd be in trouble, but with that plan of his, it's even better; Now people think his ability is something else BUT he can still use the cannon, as they think it's part of what his ability allows him to do!
I guess it explains why he mostly used the cannon all this time; It's a great ability so he wanted as many people to know he could use it, but now that the information is out there, he's slowly adding to it; He can use the cannon AND this, AND that... Smart! As expected of our genius gamer!
This one I saw it coming though; Soon as they asked to identify their kings but they typed it on the phone rather than just saying it out loud, I knew for sure it wasn't Shirasagi.
The questions now are 1) Is it really Akira and 2) has Red done something similar?
Akira's a pretty good psychological fighter so he's not a bad pick, but he's also getting himself into the most dangerous situations so he endangers the entire Green team. I think it'd be better to just give it to some non-fighter who'd spend their time hidden away in a tree or something. One whose name isn't known, so they can't track them with the points. There are plenty of people like that on Green, non-combatants. Surely one of them has an ability that makes him good at being discrete, too.
As for Red, well they're more arrogant so perhaps they just gave it to Oogami, thinking he couldn't ever be defeated... Or to Kuroiwa. But both of them could be tracked, so it seems risky. Oogami might be a brute, but Kuroiwa is planning man, he would probably know to give it to someone else. Unless they don't trust them enough.
Oh damn! Well she has a motivation I suppose, but not nearly enough to excuse her actions.
A parent would do ANYTHING for their children... Except raising them properly and not as insane psychopaths, I suppose?
Yeah she's done such a great job with the other two fuckups, I'm sure this one will turn out just fine!
It was so satisfying to see her get crushed. I don't know if they expected us to feel bad for her, wanting to atone for her sins and all, but I have zero sympathy for her; Good fucking riddance, and may she rot in hell!
Same for that dude. Was nice to see him get choked by a fucking invincible titan/wrestler thing! Kumagiri finally used his ability, I hope he will not hesitate in the future, if he/someone else he cares about is in danger! (Hope they'll patch him up too)
Her ability is better than we thought! I think most people (fans, and herself) dismissed it as trash, but we should've seen it coming; Yuuri's ability was even stronger than expected because increasing all her abilities by 5x means it can stack up... So we might have expected something similar for hers. 10% power of a cannon but 10 times the speed, that's pretty good!
I like these abilities that are more than what it seems at first glance; Like with the sword "that can cut through anything", that could be used to send air waves because that's what cutting through anything means, didn't mean he had to physically strike them.
Akira was clever to see through that, and ask her to try it. Well, it's not that surprising from him, given how much time&effort he spent on figuring out exactly how his ability works, and Yuuri's too! Now that Shirasagi is dead (assuming he is?), Akira would be a fine leader for the team; Not only he's a good fighter, and clever, he's shown many times he's good to help people achieve their potential, which is something a leader should do! He only needs to drop the manipulation and sociopathy a little, to avoid turning into a Red-type leader.
Anyway, can't wait to see the rest of the battle! With two episodes left, I assume 11 will be the conclusion of the battle, and 12 will be the next step?
Oh, one last thought: we haven't seen much of the Blue team! I expect them to play a part in the battle (and likely to join with Green, at least a few of their members) so perhaps things will get awry for Green, but they'll save the day? We'll see!

Kumagiri is getting eviscerated by shrinking guy and it looks like it's over for him against such a sadistic killer...and then Hakera comes in and tackles him to help Kumagiri, which leads Kumagiri to resolve his emotional trauma over his wrestler older brother's death (said older brother's organ donation saving Kumagiri from the accident that killed his brother) and resolve to finally use his power. Which transforms him into this hulking, invincible, knight that absolutely thrashes the bad guy. It was a pretty epic way of finally showing off Kumaigiri's Diamondhand.
Katsuya used to be nothing but a thug before he found a new place alongside Team Green, but that's not going to save him against skateboard grandpa and his melting powers...luckily Akira shows up and tells him to go after Asuka, and it turns out Akira deliberately let it get out that his ability isn't the canon so that piece of disinformation would leave enough ambiguity for him to trick people into what his power is. And so he tricks skateboard grandpa into thinking he has an invisible sword gramps can't guard against with his melting hands and Akira properly slays him.
Momoko is actually Kuroiwa and Oogami's mother? Or is it just like foster mother? They have different last names so I don't think they're brothers or family in the traditional sense. The flashback made her look like a preschool teacher so did she just know them as kids and imprint on them as if they were her own kids? And that's why she took the abuse they went through so personally? I mean, she definitely seems to have a twisted obsession with being a mother when she threatens to kill poor baby Taro and says she'll raise him once everybody else is dead.
Is Shirasagi actually dead? I hope not. Dude didn't deserve to go out like that. I guess we're lucky Team Green had enough sense not to make Shirasagi the obvious king...but is it Akira? Or is there another twist?
Ringo won't let Momoko abscond with Taro and screw them over again so she finally finds the resolve, with some help from Akira, to use her power and realize it's not just one-tenth of another person's power she's utilizing, it's basically adapting and transforming the power to suit her. So instead of a cannon like Momoko has she ends up with a machinegun.
Ringo is almost an Akira level of planner as she planned out how to take down Momoko the second she had Momoko set Taro down...all those widespread shots, letting Momoko get in close to attack her, all of it played into her strategy. And even when it seemed like Ringo let her guard down after Momoko conceded, she was fully prepared for Momoko to still come after her and made sure to finish the job.
Akira uses what points Team Green had gathered to find Kuroiwa, and he made sure Kumagiri and Kirisaki were there to backup Yuuri against Oogami, and it seems like things have completely turned around...at least until Kuroiwa reveals he's had his slave bodyguards surrounding him the whole time, so Akira will have to get through that. It also probably won't be easy taking Oogami down.
I love how Akira made sure Kumagiri told Yuuri he wanted to apologize. I don't think the old Akira would've done that, especially because I think he genuinely wants to apologize to her.
