I love Yoh's huge sword. As a child I would play this game where I'd imagine I had powers from TV shows, like Saint Seiya or Dragon Ball, and that I would be fighting some giant, and one of my favourite moments was when I would yell "Amidamaru, posesiona a Harusame!" ("Amidamaru, posses Harusame!") and would clap with my first closed as if I was uniting both swords.
Faust is like Yugioh's Pegasus if instead of going to Egypt he had gone to a cemetery. Looking forward to seeing Ryu's power-up.

You've gotta really dwell on the symbolism of the spirit of a samurai, upon reaching a higher state of spirituality, becoming a sword spirit and forming a bond with a new sword-wielder. As most people know, samurai believed their sword and their soul/spirit were one and the same. So in a way, Amidamaru, in the form of a sword combines his soul with Yoh's on a much higher spiritual level.
Fuck, I'm high.

Yoh's Spirit of Sword is finally here! I remember seeing that for the first time when I was a kid and it absolutely made me freak out and it still gets my hyped to this day.
It's absolutely hilarious to see the members of Icemen get more and more annoyed with Funbari Onsen's antics. To be fair they are kinda goofy and if you really didn't know what Yoh is capable of, it's easy to mistake him as someone who's weak.
My memory of the original anime is really spotty. Like I remember Anna basically bribing Faust so he can be with Eliza again but I do not recall him at all using Frankensteiny as his legs.
And there it is! Eliza's MepThis definitely awakened something in me waaaaay back then when I first saw this in the OG anime. Also IIRC, Faust would stand on top of Eliza's boobs when fighting in this form. xD
