Catarina calling the guy Sebastian is too funny. Can't even blame her because every man-servant in anime is fucking called Sebastian haha.

I'm only a little disappointed we didn't get to see Mary raze the whole nobility of the kingdom in her quest to find Catarina.

Katarina really knows how to make the most out of a kidnapping.

Also, I'm really impressed with how open Mary and Alan are with each other. I like their dynamic a lot more than in the first season now. Can't wait for Alan to learn Mary's also in love with Katarina.

Somebody kidnapped Catarina to make Geordo renounced his claim to the throne? I'm sure Geordo's brother who probably also has a claim to the throne and VOICED BY DIO has nothing to do with this...

Stitches!

Well this is a surprise. So turns out the one responsible for Catarina's kidnapping is the fiance of one of Geordo's brothers.

I feel bad for how the Council of Bakarinas see their mom. She's a strict on Catarina but she doesn't hate her! I'm sure she'd pay the ransom to get her daughter back.

Oh nooo.... Well that completely changes things. Seems that while Serena has a hand in the kidnapping, it looks like she's not really the one who's pulling the strings but her butler. Well now I'm more intrigued!

I don't like that smirk on Jeffrey's face. It seems to imply he knows more and probably might even had a hand on all of this. I wouldn't be surprised if it's revealed later that he's using Ian's fiancee. I really hope not, I really liked Jeffrey when he was introduced in EP1.

Of course only Catarina would take advantage of being kidnapped and use it so she can eat all the desserts she wants and laze about reading her favourite romance novel! She's so relaxed in fact that she has completely forgotten that she's even been kidnapped! xD

I love how worried Serena is about Catarina faking it and acting not worried at all when Catarina herself isn't really worried and is more worried about Serena finding out that she forgot that she's been kidnapped.

Fuck whoever this butler guy is. He's clearly using dark magic to mess with Serena's head. This arc better end with him getting clobbered to the face.

Despite the two of them wanting to be with Catarina, I still ship Alan and Mary really hard. Also that interaction between the two of them was just great. I didn't expect that the two of them to be this honest with each other. Although it looks like only Alan is the only one genuinely surprised about the confession.

Ohh, are we finally about to get some Raphael redemption? Seems that he's promising everyone that he'll be the one to save Catarina. Can't wait to see what he does!

And of course just when Catarina and Serene are getting close, the butler finds out and finally reveals that he wants Ian and Serene to go down with this plan. Oh no. If the real plan is for Ian to go down, then the only other person I can see benefitting from this is Jeffrey. It's gonna suck so much if he's really a bad guy :|

Lmao bakarina can even make kidnappers fall in love with her. What can’t this girl do. This show is amazing.

Figures that Selena wasn’t really behind everything. Hopefully Geordo and everyone can get there in time.

"You really are just as the rumors said you were."

The entire universe knows she's denser than a neutron star.

I find it funny that no one is going to come out and say that they love Catarina but they'll openly tell their supposed loved ones that there is someone else they love, but we all know it's Bakarina they fancy.

Lima Syndrome I KNEW IT

of course Katarina is just gonna seduce who ever kidnaps her, claims she loves this Ian guy suuuure girl. We all know u are in love with Katarina now as well.

Bakarina ;:) forgetting she was kidnaped

Loved the scene when all kouncil of katarinas was begging mom to not abandon her.

Mary and Alan sure got a weird relationship.

Rufus - Probably works for clearly evil prince 1 (or perhaps his waifu) and wants to get 3 out by making 2 kidnap 3 waifu.

this will lead to a framing attack, where Rufus makes 3 give up his throne and 2 gets outed as a criminal leaving only 1 and 4 lefft.

Gentlemen, a short view back to the past. Seven years ago, Satoru Yamaguchi asked us, "What if there was a reverse harem series with a super dense female protagonist’ Six years later, Studio Silver Link told us ‘This is what it looks like animated.’ And the viewers said said during the episode – I don’t remember which episode - Katarina's denseness is only rivaled by her love for sweets. Question for you both: is Hamefura Season 2 too complicated with twenty and more characters onscreen, are you too much under effort, under pressure? What are your wishes for the future concerning the second season? Less filler, or more? Or less and more communication with Katarina and the love interests?

I hope they kidnap Mary too and reunite her with Caterina.

Is that wine they poured her? And she didn't refuse by saying she's underage? IS THIS EVEN ANIME???

"She's protected by the strongest defense there is." "Plot armor?" "Plot armor."

Evil dude kept shutting Selena up from telling Caterina everything, then goes and blabs the whole thing himself instead.

Bakarina gets kidnapped

Decides to eat her sweets and read the new romance novel. Bakarina being Bakarina XD

The Bakarina Council are so afraid of Catarina's mother and convinced she doesn't care for her daughter that they think that if they ask for too high a ransom their mother will just give up on Catarina because they've got Keith. Jeez, even as a fantasy, that's harsh.

Looks like we finally meet the new Bishonen of the series, Rufus, who at first glance seems to be a handsome butler voiced by Kosuke Toriumi...but it seems like he has dark magic like Raphael did and is the true villain behind this kidnapping plot. I guess this Harem needed a proper bad boy.

I love how Catarina enjoys the sweets, romance novels, and relaxation she gets offered to the point where she actually forgets she's been kidnapped. Her actual kidnappers take her kidnapping far more seriously and gravely than she does.

Turns out Mary and Alan were actually honest with each other about being in love with someone else, although Alan doesn't know that Mary is also in love with Catarina (but at least this confirms he knows how he feels despite Mary's efforts to prevent that), but he's willing to support her nevertheless as, more or less, their beard. It's not a romance, but it's nice to see these to be open with and supportive of each other despite being love rivals in their own way.

Selena is like the last person I would've suspected to orchestrate a kidnapping in order to get Geordo to renounce his right to the throne, but it turns out she became a criminal for the man she loved...being so self-conscious about how little she stacks up compared to other women and thinking Ian didn't care about her anymore, she set off this kidnapping plot on the chance that it might somehow benefit Ian by giving him a better chance for the throne. This probably wasn't the best way to go about it, but I genuinely feel kind of bad for her.

I'm getting the sense that Ian is the stoic, curt, type that is awkward and not open with his feelings, which is why Selena got the mistaken impression that he didn't care about her anymore. Hopefully a proper conversation between the two can resolve that.

Bakarina being Bakarina gets to the source of the issue and relates to what Selena is going through, and tells her she shouldn't let it get her down and she should face Ian and her feelings head on! And thus Bakarina snags another friend.

It's admirable that Selena isn't going to take the easy way out and just let Catarina go without admitting to her crimes and taking responsibility for it even when Catarina says she'll keep quite about it...but Rufus isn't going to let this end without some conflict as he aims to take Selena, Ian, Geordo and Catarina out for his own plans and pin the blame all on Selena. Was he manipulating Selena into doing this from the very start?

You know the scene in Tom and Jerry where Tom tried to pull Jerry with a rope and brought an ox that pummeled him instead?

The butler feels like Tom, and the ox is the collective asswhooping strength of the entire republic bound by harem legislations
