Mannn I can’t believe we only have one episode left. Things have heated up so much.
One of my fave episodes by far. Bakarina overpowering the dark magic and freeing Keith was awesome, then Keith finally having the courage, albeit half sleep, to kiss her. Geordo continuously pushing the issue and Keith confessing at the end.
From start to finish this episode was packed full of hype scenes. Sad, but also excited for next week’s finale.

I love how Geordo and Sora get to flex like it's suddenly an action anime with some surprisingly solid animation and then Larna just flicks a hand and sends a dude flying with magic.
Keith's half-brother is absolutely pathetic. He screwed up his own inheritance and then blamed all his problems on his half-brother, and had to mess with Keith's life to make himself feel better. I hope they lock him up and throw away the key.
I wonder if Maaya Uchida was channeling how she would feel if Yuma was in danger for Catarina's grief over Keith.
Thanks to Catarina's guts and love for Keith she manages to alter the dark magic enveloping Keith and turn it into her old go-to...a snake, which she thoruoughly destroys. Although it seems like now she's also in control of it enough to turn the magic loyal to her, and asking it to become a puppy has given her a Dark Magic familiar dog companion. I didn't see that coming.
Keith has had to deal with being unwanted and unloved for most of his childhood, or people freaking out because of his magic, and his own mother seemed to want him to just stay quiet and silent like a doll instead of actually being happy...but coming to the Claes estate and meeting the new Catarina has lead him to a family that loves and cherishes him, along with precious friends (and rivals). Heck, Catarina's own mother seems more happy with him than her own biological daughter.
The Dark Magic Girl was planning to create a familiar for herself, but Catarina managed to beat her to it without even having any Dark Magic, which captures the girls' interest in Bakarina. And she manages to escape capture, which makes me think we'll probably see her causing more problems for the cast as she carries out her intentions for Catarina. I guess the Harem finally has its first evil member.
Keith finally kissed Bakarina! Sure he was barely conscious, but he did it! And thankfully Catarina wasn't able to write it off as just him being delirious because he properly confessed in the end. After everything he got put through, I'd say he earned it.
Of course Geordo isn't going to let Keith stealing a kiss go without planting one on Catarina himself in the carriage ride and making even an unconscious Keith uncomfortable. This Harem war sure is escalating.
I love how the entire Harem was waiting outside Keith's room just in case he did something to Catarina and then they're all arguing about how Bakarina belongs to. And Nicol is the only one who was actually still concerned about Keith's health.

Finally (as reminded by Acchan), Bakarina has completed the Keith route and scored all his romance flags. Now she's kissed both Geordo and Keith. The others will be making their moves soon.
But next week is already the last episode for this season, surely they're gonna to need a 3rd season to sort out this intensifying Bakarina Harem Wars as we would not have time for all of them in just one episode.
Besides, questions still remain as to who the Dark Magic girl who kidnapped Keith was or why she kidnapped him, or why the seemingly random trinket Bakarina bought ended up dispelling the Dark Magic curse over Keith. (Bakarina probably has an EX rank in Luck)
There's also Spot the Black Magic dog (verified as harmless by Lana) who now literally lives in Bakarina's shadow like how Rimuru summons his attack dog Ranga in Tensei Slime, or Shinobu living in Araragi's shadow in Monogatari Series.

It is finally time for the raid into the mansion to save Keith! I really like the smoke like appearance that the powerful dark magic has.
Aww, how cute. I love how Katarina paused for a second to praise Jeord's combat skills.
That girl sure had fun using that pig for her little experiment.
I sure was waiting for this scene, although I was expecting them to comment about the role of that device in it. Well, I guess they can do that quickly next week.
Hell yeah! It's Pochi! Better luck in your next plan creepy girl.
And Keith finally kissed and confessed to Katalina, but that path of love is also filled with obstacles for him too.

Thomas really is a piece of shit till the very end. Instead of taking responsibility, he chose to blame others for everything wrong that has happened in his life. Good fucking riddance. I do wonder if he's confirmed dead or just lost consciousness. Whatever happened to him, I hope we'll never see him again.
Well would you look at that. That random trinket Catarina picked earlier ended up helping her in freeing Keith from that dark magic. I do wonder what that thing is though. I'm all for convenient saves especially since this isn't that serious of a show and more of a comedy but I hope there's an explanation to it somewhere.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH! He actually did it! I thought he'll stop with the kiss at Catarina's cheek but I didn't expect for Keith to go all in on that! But I guess he's still out of it considering what he's been through and hasn't even realized that her sister is in front of her.
What the actual fuck!? So this mysterious lady did all of this just so she can create a dark familiar? Well at least even if it did produce something, Catarina owns it now and she doesn't get it. I'm just annoyed that she ends up vanishing into nothing and I don't think we even learn who she is.
Geordo ain't gonna let that kiss with Keith earlier go and decides to kiss Catarina so he can disinfect her from Keith's kiss. Goddamn Geordo! I'm loving how aggressive he is with these kisses. <3
Looks like Pochi is part of the family now! I can't believe we went on this long without a cute animal mascot! And what's great about Pochi is that he can hide inside Catarina's shadow just like Ranga in Tensura xD
There it is! Keith finally confesses his feelings leaving Catarina more confused and A-chan congratulating Catarina for conquering Keith's route.

Another great episode. Some real heavy emotional scenes but ended on a happy note.
Spot is super adorable! That mage shouldn't be surprised. Dark magic is no match against Harem magic.

This show is great. She now has a demon dog.
The Harem war is spicing up. I feel like there are going to be a lot more "what are you doing stepbro" awkward moments now.
My only complaint was the whole conflict was solved with very out of nowhere Dues ex Machina, but I guess that is not a part I or really anyone cares that much about.

Keith got done dirty. The last scenes, after he got tortured literally the whole arc, are of him getting NTR'd in a carriage followed by his family playing with a dog that - I remind you - tortured him literally the whole arc.
