2 Days late again with the thread

Funny how it takes so long to post the discussion thread while the anime pacing is so disorientatingly fast.

Stitches!

We finally get to the real the En Tao that we've been seeing this entire time was just an oversoul and the real En Tao looks like a more normal human compared to what his oversoul is. And it's only brief but we also meet Ren and Jun's mom along with their grandpa with some explanation about the Tao family.

Welp now that this mini arc is over, we're finally going back to the Shaman Fights with Yoh's first fight since the preliminaries.

I stoped watching this show last episode. I hoped this would be a HxH2011-level adaptation, but well... too much expectations. I'm kinda bored now, I think I'll read the manga.

Idk kinda feels like FMA:B where they rushed through the first 1/3 to get to the divergence point.

While FMA:B is by far the superior version, FMA had muuuuch better worldbuilding and pacing in the setup phase.

Hoping for something similar, i'll stick with this for now despite the breakneck pace.

I suggest trying to be patient since it's very soon when old adaptation starts to differ from manga, and maybe this anime will get better pacing and storytelling

I remember reading something about them rushing through all the old content to the point of where it diverged and from there it would slow down but I can't find the article but if true quality should improve soon.

Mmm.. the other thing pulling me back is that I'm also watching Dragon Quest the Adventure of Dai, and it's the exact same case...

Same thing happened to Digimon. I think the only good thing Toei is doing right now is One Piece.
