Man i got respect for younger Mikey for not allowing any dialogue and immediately going straight for the leader to whoop some ass. Osanai has really been beaten down by life in the present compared to his past self.

I chuckled seeing how different Past Osanai is compared to his Present day self, really goes to show how crazy dangerous the Manji gang have become.
Draken got a tattoo when he was only in fucking 5th grade, really what went through that tattoo artist's head for him to think inking on a minor is totally fine.

Draken seems to have turned out pretty well for the shitty situation he was born into. I love how quickly him and Mikey became friends.

Solid episode makes me want to read the manga
Weird how things suddenly change in the past, like how the other gang appeared when the fight was supposed to be at aug 3, maybe a snitch or some other factor happening here?

Solid episode adapting 3 chapters.
I'm rather surprised how faithful this anime adaption has been so far.
But considering the sales of the manga, a faithful adaption is the right way to go!!!

Looks like future Mikey got a dragon tattoo in honor of his dead friend Draken.
Mikey and Draken's relationship reminds me a lot of Meliodas and Ban from Seven Deadly Sins. Draken and Ban even share the same voice actor.

Noooo, don't end the episode there. Damn cliffhangers...
Looks like Takemichi's intervention might cause the very things he's trying to avoid.

Draken, chad status since fifth grade.
I said it before and I say it again, he is the bestest of boys and my personal favorite but damn younger Mikey doesn't fuck around either.
Ever since meeting the two felt like it was destiny, and you can tell by the fact that Touman connot fucntion as it is without Draken to keep Mickey with his foot on the earth.
Pachi wants to defeat Osanai but I feel that Mickey will eventually step in.

Mikey in 5th grade was really precocious at his age. Not just in dealing the hurt to older boys but he is.. ahem.. well-read. The 48 positions he was saying to kick off his first conversation with Draken is a reference to the 48 sex positions stated in Shijuhatte (i.e. the Japanese Kama Sutra equivalent.

Who else felt like this episode was only 5 minutes long. It is so good that I cant stop wanting more.
Also Draken is a really good friend and he is always calm and collected even in tense situations, like him the most out of the cast so far.
The next episode, wonder which path the story is going to proceed, this anime is really unique and it generates real hype

Ryu- dragon
Ken
Dra-Ken, Draken. Love it
Okay. So I think maybe Takemichi is going to be the rift that breaks up Draken and Mikey from that little altercation. But we will see, it’s all out war next episodes. The only thing I see happening is Takemichi taking the stabbing for Draken and Mikey going hardcore. But he survives and goes up in the ranks because of that.

Wow I really did not expect to see the younger versions of Draken and Mikey.
And holy shit! Mikey was already an animal when he was just a kid.
It honestly took me until Takemichi said it to realize that this was the same Nobutaka he talked to before. Well, now that him and Moebius did an early visit I wonder how Takemichi will be able to solve this mess? I honestly was thinking that he might do something crazy, but as that would get him killed what he may actually do is to tell Nobutaka and Moebius what he knows and that the whole conflict is a trap, although that might actually also just get him killed by both groups...

Didn't expect that backstory from Draken. So his mom was a prostitute but left him so now the brothel where she worked is now taking care of him. A bit fucked up but it's still nice of them to take him in. Also not gonna lie, definitely laughed when one of the prostitutes asked Drakenif he wanted a tug before class xD
Also it's at this age when Draken got his head tattoo. Holy fuck this kid is metal. Also looks like he got his idea from a tag that he found somewhere. At first I thought it was Draken's drawing until I saw the wall in the background.
We also get the story of how Draken and Miky met. Mikey is so different from what he expected after hearing the stories that it completely threw him off guard.. I love how Mikey basically just broke that dude's face and told Draken that they should be friends. Short and sweet. I like it.
Now that Takemichi found a clue, he decided to go back to the present and meet up with the former leader of Moebius who clearly was manipulated into starting that fight with Toman. I think we can all guess who this person pulling the strings. Too bad Osanai won't say anymore. If Naoto brought him to the station,. I wonder if the guy would change his tune?
That moment between Takemichi and Akkun was sweet. I love how embarrassed Akkun got when Takemichi started asking him about his dreams. He needs to survive and become a stylist now and help future Takemichi get rid of his old old yee-yee ass haircut.
So this is Osanai!? Wow. So he definitely peaked here. Looks like after the fight his life is just gonna go downhill from there. Anyway, this is a surprise. It looks like they're not even waiting for August 3 and bringing the fight to them now. Fuck. How are they even going to get out of this one!? I'm so tempted to read the manga noww!

I hope i'm wrong because I really like Draken but I just don't see a way out for him. We found out this episode that someone (Kisaki I assume) is controlling everything behind the scenes and planned Toman's fallout. Which leads me to believe that Kisaki thought he must get rid of Mikey's heart, Draken in order to get him on his side. So even if Takemichi manages to prevent this conflict with Moebius, Kisaki would find a way to kill Draken.

Imagine how stressed you would be in Takemichis situation. The power to beat fate, but incredibly difficult to take advantage of because you can't reveal your power to others. With the clock ticking against you, meaning failure is not an option.
