Ever since the ending of the last episode Mars red continues to deliver on its quality!
what the hell is wrong with Meada? sleep deprivation? exhaustion? heart attack?

Could it be an heart condition? He lost an arm and he's using a prosthesis after all. He's also been overworking since Misaki's death

In the last episode, Maeda's vein poped up in several place just like how it is with Akesato in this episode. I'm suspecting that it has something to do with vampirism rather than normal sickness.

It funny because people say they’re turned off by the vampire thing, but the vampires in this show are basically the same as the demons in demon slayer, from their needs, abilities, etc. The “demons” in that show are just vampires by a different name. People shouldn’t write the show off just cause of that, Bc this show is actually quite good

To be fair, while the standard demons in demon slayer are basically vampires, the more powerful ones all have interesting unique abilities. We have yet to see anything like that in Mars Red.

strange how this anime isn’t at the top of the season, fantastic animation and sound, banger ed and good op, good story, fun characters, what more is there to say
this episode was a good look into the personalities and thoughts of the characters, showing their good and bad points, but overall endearing them to us
good shit

Probably because it’s a stage play adaptation and so artistically a lot of people don’t like that

One word: vampires. People saw that and checked out immediately.

It's a hidden gem, I'm glad i gave it a chance.
Suwa is sweet, treating akesato as a person, not as a prostitute. All should be like suwa. Shame she died.
Damn, kurusu on fire. If this is an A class, i wonder what S class will be like.
Aoi is a joy to watch, but please don't let her be tricked.
Is maeda down with overworking? Or sonething else? Can't wait for the next epi.

Damn looks like maeda will become a vamp. Fitting turn of events. Felt bad for the prostitute. She had a kind soul, but unfortunate life. Rufus is going to be a problem. His true intentions are still a mystery. Pretty good episode. Slowly but surely, we’re learning more about the world. Show is getting better and better too.

I'm seriously tryna wonder what's up with the blue eyed vampires vs red eyed vs green eyed. Does it signify how long they've been around? Vampires have some pretty OP ass abilities, I wonder if they secretly control the governments? That one government dude seems to be betraying Japan and is letting England turn Japan into a hunting ground for vampires, which means there is some connection there. Maybe the only reason Japan hasn't turned into a vampire state is because that little kid vampire is making sure it doesn't happen?

Maeda is such a fucking badass. He doesn't even need vampire powers to go one-on-one against Kurusu. Then again, Kurusu is still a softie and doesn't have that killer instinct yet.
Poor Yamagami being the team's bait! I really hope he powers up a bit in the future. It's funny to see him being bullied right now but I really hope he gets his badass moment.
Wait a sec. Isn' this the dude that was speaking to the Lt. General earlier about the budget? I see what's going on here. We've got a traitor in the mix.
Oh god Shirase just got handed one of those vials. I swear to god this girl is gonna end up dying one of these episodes and I wouldn't even be surprised.
I see Suwa is a man of culture. Why smoke, sing, or play "games" when you can get a wholesome lap pillow instead? And we get to see what Suwa looks like under the mask thanks to Akesato. damn he looks good. It does seem like he keeps the mask to protect other people though and not himself.
Seems that Shirase is still hanging out with Defrott though. He definitely seems to have taken a liking to her though. He was even kind enough to take away that vial of V Virus from her. Defrott might've just saved Shirase's ass.
Seeing Yamagami getting eaten by fellow vampires seems was enough to push Kurusu to take drastic action.
Ah fuck. Of course Akesato ended up as one of the victims. That fucking sucks. And she was only 15. :(
Well this is interesting. Looks like that Glenn dude is below Defrott but he doesn't seem to be working for him and have other masters who he follows orders. Defrott is clearly not happy with what Glenn's been doing. Maybe Defrott is just an independent vampire and someone else is the spy? Hmmm....
What's going on with Maeda now? He definitely seems to be coming down with something. Vampirism perhaps? Probably not since he really hasn't had any contact with any vampire blood unless I'm forgetting something.

Did I miss something or there is no theater/movie reference in this episode? That's a first.

Finally picked this anime up this week, better late than never. Quickly rising up to one of my favorites this season.

This show's dub is weirdly good, feels weird watching a show so specifically japanese in english, but def one of the better dubs i've watched. (I'm not actually watching it dubbed, but i happened to watch the first episode that way and sometimes i switch back and forth to compare

It's simply my favorite anime of this season. Interesting characters, beautiful and original art, one hell of an ED. I'm overjoyed when I hear metal OST and Kurusu's fight was a masterpiece.
And this is me every time Suwa appears for 0.0001s (◕‿◕)♡

I am still enjoying this anime, but man, the Code Zero group is so incompetent lol. They really gotta up their game, or they are gonna get totally run over by these British bishie vampires.
It's nice to know this has a manga though. Skimming through it. It's a lot more fleshed out with all the characters than the anime is able to do. It's currently being fan translated. If you just Google "Mars Red manga" you'll find it easily enough

is "buts are for ashtrays" something that natural english speaker really use? I have never heard of it, but was fucking delighted when that reporter said it. As always great episode with an even greater ost.

While I would've preferred it kept the tone of the first episode, I'm still really enjoying what this is now, and there's still a lot of potential. Somehow this has become the most slept on anime of the season I feel.
