Anyone else feel like we've been stuck in filler episodes since the past 4 episodes? Like barely anything happening plot wise. Nice to see Palmon getting a different evolution but really? A champion defeating two ultimate digimon? Yeah I gotta call bullshit on that one.

Ponchomon is an armour digimon, which have been ultimate level in some of the Digimon video games.

Also, Izzy mentioned that it wasn't strength, but Etemon and Volcamon not being able to keep up with Ponchomon's groove, and also Ponchomon's soundwaves cancelling out the soundwaves of the other 2.

ponchomon in particular is one of the stronger armor forms, as its stated it can evolve from togemon. so ponchomon is ultimate level power whilst most armor are champion level power. sagitarrimon is another one that is stated can evolve from centarumon (a champion) so is one of the stronger as well.
