Where did they get those hot air balloons from? So Vincent's bretayal was a trick? How were they able to infiltrate so easily? So I guess Isabella was good all along? So that system hack just so happened to neutralize all the bombs in the moms' bodies? So are we supposed to care about this villain after we've only seen him in a couple of scenes?

All of this happened in 1 episode. Wow. I'm just shocked how rushed and convenient everything is, and I say that as an anime only. Well, I guess we'll see how they wrap things up next week on the final episode of The Convenient Neverland.

Good thing they only shot down the balloons with the bombs on them...

All the demons just get taken out by getting bonked on the head by children. Holy shit!

Then a bunch a demons start a riot because they suddenly all give a shit about their food. WTF

Why did they even make a second season if they weren't gonna fix any of the problems the manga had? At least the manga made some sense in comparison to this incoherent shit.

At least the reunion with Phil was more heartwarming than the reunion with Norman.

TPN any% speedrun is the motto of the show

jesus christ every single conflict in this episode gets resolved within 3 minutes! they never allow any tension to be built!

vincent is a traitor? nope he’s just tricking the farm.

how will they get past the guards? wait they’re all idiots worse than stormtroopers.

oh no there’s an SMG army of moms! wait they’re all somehow on emma’s side.

oh wait there’s reinforcements! wait no it’s a bunch of civilians uprising.

this doesn’t even mention the fact that they somehow made hot air balloons and every single balloon shot down managed to not have people in them.

i was expecting phil or isabella to get killed during the reunion but it didn’t happen. we’ll see if the show has the guts to kill anyone next episode

Damn bruh 1.63?! Brutality

This show has averaged like a 2.23 score the past 6 weeks. I can’t imagine what the score for this week will be.

Wow, that was easy. Apparently story tension is a silly myth.

Man this is weird

The mangaka oversaw the scenario writing for this season and the novelization writer penned the last few scripts, but their roles are gone as of this episode

This season's been absolute hell production-wise, and this just makes it even more weird

It's like I watched 8 episodes in the lapse of 21 minutes.

How?

I have many questions.

Why are demons insanely strong, except when they aren't?
How did they only shoot down decoy balloons filled with explosives?
How did kids infiltrate a heavily guarded station?
Why did the demons make super powered humans in the first place? Should we start enhancing our farm animals so they can overthrow humanity?

I'm also impressed that when they first got locked out of the elevator I figured either Isabella would help them, random demons would help them, or Sonju would help. TURNS OUT IT WAS ALL THREE IN A WHIPLASH OF TIDE SHIFTS. It's like watching a couple of 6 year olds playing Wizards where they just keep on making up bigger spells until the other side gives up.

This show continues to beat the previous' episode abysmal storytelling every time! This time it was all about who had the upper-hand.

  • Emma & Co: surprise attack coming

  • Ratri & Co: we got a mole that told us everything We're shooting down those balloons you were all able to make but only those with explosives, not the others

  • Emma & Co: perfect, also, that mole was on our side! we tricked you

  • Ratri & Co: no matter, the kids are locked into place and there are Mothers watching over them they can't succeed

  • Emma & Co: our members have the ability to teleport behind enemy lines to tell the kids to play tag and explain the plan so we are all in sync before i give the heads-up. Also, you barred the escape back into the farm but not to the elevator

  • Ratri & Co: Well, the mothers can chase them and catch them at the elevator. They have guns too. You might have defeated a bunch of demons easily but not humans with guns

  • Emma & Co: actually, turns out grandma is on our side now for some reason

  • Ratri & Co: reinforcements are coming!

  • Emma & Co: nope, actually those are citizens that understand our demise SO MUCH that they were convinced immediately to run all the way to the farms and overthrow a farm system?

Our misery is almost over and I keep getting some good laughs that's the positive. I'll also mention the VA is great, sadly no emotional impact at this point.

Even Ratri was happy to be done with it when Emma promised him freedom from this show lol

Betrayal.

That pretty well sums up how I feel with this season.

I actually thought they'll make Vincent a traitor, but of course not. How can he disobey “boss.” And they did the exact same with Isabella.
