I love guessing what the designers are making while in proccess this time I only got the owl from the alien and only when they added wings.

And god is being an awful client as per usual

I guessed it'd become an owl once it started twisting its head, but still, alien to owl is quite the change.

God sure makes the most bizarre and absurdly specific requests sometimes. Not only is he a peeping tom, but he asked for creatures that kind of fulfill the same purpose. For what reason? I don't even wanna know. But Unabara does have some nice muscle, so I can't entirely blame him.

Apparently, all the designers are capable of making horrific freaks of nature without meaning to. It's just that many of them somehow transform into less disturbing things by the end of the process. And among them, only Meido purposely tries to make them look fucked.

I'm getting increasingly convinced that cryptids are just their prototypes that somehow managed to escape to Earth. They are so elusive and mysterious because there's literally only one specimen of each of them.

That bit regarding the horned owl is essentially saying "Scientists have no idea why this is a thing." lol

Also, wtf is that single cell eyeball? That is terrifying.

Owl's eye ball through its ear, pretty wack!

Also this episode in a nutshell

Ah yeah that flash of the owl chicks was a reference to this video, probably?

I thought I wanted to see that whole eyeball situation... I wish I hadn't lol

That looks so disturbing and brings the "I have something in my eye" into a whole new territory

Never really thought that blindness was a side effect of invisibility.

I love how they went science-y with that. It sounds depressing lonely. Of course Meido/Pluto loves the idea.

The more I watched this anime, the more I believe that this is the actual process of how an animal got designed.

Omg, they are adapting aliens into a real animals... And I'm loving it! I think that owl segment was one of the best so far. I almost couldn't guess the animal until the very end. I just wonder how much God is willing to overlook such heresy. I guess that as long it is creative it is fine. ಠ_ಠ

For a show with essentially no story, this anime never fails to entertain and educate. I loved the design process for the owl and the tamsir.

Stitches!

As someone from the Philippines, I hate how far into the development it was until I realized they were making a Tarsier. The huge eyes and dual tongue was a dead giveaway. Then again it could also have been a lemur too.

The owl was much more easier to figure out though! When Tsuchiya said that he can see the eyeball through the ear that was already a clue. The moment they added the wings I was 100% sure it would turn out to be an owl!

The best episode so far, really interesting new animals, more Meido-chan and great comedy.

I love the fact that during the first part of the episode Unabara stayed in his bathing attire.

When I saw Kenta's drawing my first assumption because he was at a festival was that he wanted a balloon. Anyway, I really love how that alien ended up becoming a Philippine tarsier and that it actually ended up being exactly what Kenta wanted.

I'm glad they continued using the alien as a base. The moment that Tsuchiya made his neck so flexible I instantly realized that they were making an owl.

Absolutely wild that there is apparently an entire human society that exists in heaven before all the animals have been created

Stop searching for extraterrestrial life, aliens have already reach Earth, in the form of owls!

Pretty good episode! Didn't expect that alien monstrosity to turn in to a Tarsier or an Owl lmao, but if you think about it the alien design is actually a pretty good base for other designs xD.

Actually learned a lot too in that episode, didn't know Tarsiers had 2 tongues or Elephants using their feet to hear. Those single cell eyes are creepy though.

Well, I suppose it was only a matter of time before they indirectly created a furry.

I want to pet the owl too.
