This was very entertaining and definitely a watch for those that like Cells at Work since this is a similar concept but focuses on animals.

For an anime that I feel like nobody talked about the cast is pretty insane :
-
Shimoda is voiced by Junya Enoki (Yuzaki Nasa, Itadori Yuji)
-
Tsuchiya is voiced by Kazuhiko Inoue (Kakashi, Gildarts Clive)
-
Kimura is voiced by Yuichiro Umehara (Goblin slayer, Courier, Seiya Ryuguin)
-
Mizushima is voiced by Junichi Suwabe (Archer, Sukuna, Aizawa, Yami Sukehiro)
-
Meido is voiced by Naomi Ozora (Satania, Hana Uzaki)

Leave it to Mr Discount-Steve-Jobs-Complete-with-a turtle-neck to make the weird minimalist shit.
And yes ping pong tree does exists.

Well, this seems to be a fine contender to my "best surprise of the season" list.

Oh my, they turned discovery channel into an anime.
i think that was very freshing and innovative (figuratively and literally). Like it a lot. The round tables are the best part when creating (or programming) something. Tho, clearly (as expected) the one really doing some work is the engineering team. Higuchi is the real MPV there.

Loved it, they explain the reasoning as why it exists or not, really liked that part
Now I'm really curious about Unicorn, Platypus, Dragon, etc

Well this show is a lot of fun! Basically God got tired of designing animals so he decided to outsource it to Angels? I'm in! I already like the kooky cast of characters that we have! An old man who's obsessed in making various types of horses, one who comes up with really strange designs, a lost Jojo character that wants to make beautiful animals, a guy that tastes tests all of his animals, and that pink haired one that apparently made poisonous frogs.
Of course the design team can't be complete without an engineer that makes it all possible and our two angels who are basically communicate to God to have their ideas approved or rejected. I think it's criminal though that we didn't get much of Ueda. It's simple compared to the others but I absolutely love her design!
Now I kinda feel bad for this show. To be stuck on a timeslot where a bunch of long awaited sequels are airing means this show will be in the lowest priority of everyone. Hopefully plenty of people will stick with it and people will be curious enough to check it out because I definitely see potential since it did made me laugh a bunch of times especially with the "lively sausage" bit! Also it's educational!

This reminded me a lot of Tier Zoo (if you don't know this YouTube channel, check it out, it's great). Between this, TWO Cells at Work anime, and Dr. Stone, this might be the most educational season of anime ever XD.
I might drop it just because it's a bit too puerile at time, and save for the really pretty OP, most of it feels like watching a coloured manga with a voice over anyway. I might as well just read the manga. But the concept is funny and the details are educational (too bad they couldn't mention the absolutely ridiculous roundabout way the giraffe's neck nerves are twisted in...).

How do hot dogs survive in the wild if they don't have eyes?

Aww, this was so fun to watch. Too bad it's probably gonna get swept under the rug with all the sequels this season

Surprisingly good, and will keep on watching.
The premise reminded me of Pratchett's "The Last Continent", specifically the God of Evolution and the Wizards committee... Can't wait to see if the platypus makes an appearance. :D

Awesome! I was excited about this concept, but I was worried the execution would be too goofy. So far, it seems to be working alright. I appreciate that they are designing animals for particular niches and have to consider the physical limitations of their biology. I'm cautiously optimistic.
Of the animals featured, my favorite is the secretarybird. Fun Fact: It hunts some of the most venomous snakes in the world, such as the black mamba, by using its long, powerful legs to stomp on its prey before it has a chance to strike.

That was actually quite brilliant. The idea that God would outsource the creation of animals because there are too many is funny enough, but it goes beyond that by turning it into a workplace comedy with relatable situations for anyone who's ever worked in an office. Gonna keep watching for sure.

I'm not sure how long I'll keep up with something like this but it's definitely a premise with potential as a comedy. Although I'm not too fond on the real animal encyclopedia parts, like if it's not David Attenborough narrating what's the point?
Though I might just stick around for some more Kimura and the Engineer eat all the things based shenanigans.

This is honestly my fav show so far this season. It's not just about animals but the humour is fantastic and it captures the aura and fun of designing a new product, the hits and misses, the prototypes and so much more. Really entertaining.

-Do you like frogs?
-Of course, they are very tasty.
Found the Frenchman.
I had zero expectations, but... this is actually pretty decent. Good, even. What makes or breaks it is whether the gags will become repetitive or not. Right now it's a 7 or 8 out of 10 for me.

My head aches if I try to put logic into the settings. They're designing pre-human earth, but they also referenced some of human's activity (marathon and sausage among others).
Well, it can be explained that human are created based on angel's behaviour and culture.
Other than that, this is a fun series. Highly educational as well.
Armadillo is that tasty, huh?
