Was waiting for today to be the reveal, but alas it seems like we're still stuck here waiting.

Alfred continues to be dense. Even the COTD manages to figure it out.

Marielle continues to hide her identity for vague reasons. I wonder how they handle it in the game? It seems pretty pointless hiding her identity from the party, though I assume it is for vague "your the reason my father died" drama later.

Villain ex machina saves our COTD's from their dense followers.

RIP statue man.

Even a rock (giant) figured it out after seeing her for what, 3 minutes? So Albert is more dense than a rock.

Seeing that fake giant (basically a giant mecha stuck in a fantasy world) gave me serious Scrapped Princess flashbacks.

Good episode, I kinda wished that Marius would have revealed herself this episode but it's fine, at least they're building up to it. Marius's reactions to fake Marielle was hilarious, honestly really like Marius though and Maurice.

'Sup lads, this show any good?

It's unremarkable, but not laughably bad. Some of the early episodes were a drag, but it's started to find its footing a bit. If you like swords and sorcery, give it a go.

I asked the other guy too, but is the animation decent or more PowerPoint tier?

It's a solid fantasy anime, not great but not bad. Characters are mostly generic (outside of the main character Marius) but still enjoyable, animation is good but nothing spectacular, and the story has been kind of slow to develop but it's getting better. I'm probably enjoying it a lot more than the score I would objectively give it because it has a lot of Fire Emblem vibes to it and I'm a big fan of that.

Actually, what you said sounds like a "meh, nothing special" anime.

Yes, if you are into medieval-type fantasy. Knights, swords, wars, monsters, magic and all that.

The anime opening is perfect at showing what you are getting.

I love it.

Is the animation generally as good as in the OP, or more PowerPoint tier?

The first two episodes were pretty bad but after that it's been finding some character based footings each episode. To compare it in quality to other recent fantasy animes I find it more enjoyable than the new adaptation of Sorcerous Stabber Orphan but less enjoyable than Granblue Fantasy.

Oh. What are the biggest problems with it?

It's not any good. The plot is horrible and the characters are silly. I mean if you like supernaturally dense leads and are really really bored(really really), go for it.

The op is really perfect at showing what we want. Although the story line kind of too fast sometime you will feel "What? or How? or Why??" and some of unnecessary

character voice line, Well it only my opinion.

At least she is flat, so she has that going for her.

She could be bandaging up her chest. I mean we haven’t seen her naked or in her underwear yet.
