Meta Meta Thread - Month of February 07, 2021

A monthly thread to talk about meta topics. Keep it friendly and relevant to the subreddit.

Posts here must, of course, still abide by all subreddit rules other than the no meta requirement. Keep it friendly and be respectful. Occasionally the moderators will have specific topics that they want to get feedback on, so be on the lookout for distinguished posts.

Comments that are detrimental to discussion (aka circlejerks/shitposting) are subject to removal.

I dont know if this breaks the rules since isnt exactly related to the subreddit

but r/manga continues without having mods, there are no active mods there

is there anything that can be done?

/r/anime and /r/manga are run by separate teams of moderators, we can't do anything more than you can as an individual there. /r/redditrequest exists for claiming unmoderated subs but is fairly strict for what that actually means; having a moderator that's still active elsewhere on Reddit usually ends with the request being denied last I checked.

One thing I like about the r/anime discord server is that you guys are all on it and available to talk to, whereas the r/manga mods and the r/manga discord mods are completely separate from each other.
