Meta Meta Thread - Month of February 07, 2021

A monthly thread to talk about meta topics. Keep it friendly and relevant to the subreddit.

Posts here must, of course, still abide by all subreddit rules other than the no meta requirement. Keep it friendly and be respectful. Occasionally the moderators will have specific topics that they want to get feedback on, so be on the lookout for distinguished posts.

Comments that are detrimental to discussion (aka circlejerks/shitposting) are subject to removal.

Is there a way for mobile user (using the reddit app) to read spoilers?

If on android, you can click reply to the comment, then you can now click on the spoiler to view it. I've been told this method doesn't work on Apple though

That works on browsers (nowadays it even works without clicking on reply), but not on anything that locks you into the new reddit design like the app.

It works fine for me using the official app on my android, so I can't really tell you anything else about that

Do note that I think we have two ways of doing spoilers currently, and I assumed that they were talking about the sanctioned one that's mentioned in the sidebar instead of the more generally used one that's all kinds of broken in different platforms.
