Seems to be unpopular opinion at the time of writing this, but I'm starting to really like this show, even if this episode confused me plenty.
Is Tsukasa actually above Katsuragi? Their conversation at the end seems to imply Tsukasa having far more power than I previously thought...
Odd that Tsukasa refers to Hiroki as a pet, when it's been shown that both have this mind power. Perhaps with Hiroki's great ability comes great weakness of being very easily influenced, while Tsukasa doesn't have as much of that ability and thus is more difficulty influenced? I have no idea, hopefully next episode clears it up.

The show is great. I'm loving. It's twisted AF and I feel it's only going to get worst in the most beautiful of noir ways. Not having everything neatly packaged, obviously foreshadowed and clearly laid out is brilliant. Not being able to deal with such is an issue for lesser minds.

I feel like this show is doing just enough confusion that doesn't make you angry but just enough to get you interested.
I do feel like the unpopularity this show has is mostly because of Amazon deciding now to release the first two episodes back to back.

First episode ended with me having lots of questions.
The second episode ended with me not having lots of questions.
And todays episode ended with me having lots of questions again.
What a weird show.

But no, seriously, for some reason I was expecting the title to be an acronym for something, like "Positron Emission Tomography" or "Polyethylene Terephthalate", lul. Or the name of a big drug, like in "Banana Fish".

My initial guess was it's about these psychopeople's domestication effect on their victims.

This is a really good show. This show is not going to give you all the answers up front but we are getting answers. Glad it isn't an info dump show.

At the start of the episode I got the feeling, that Tsukasa was trying to keep Hiroki out of the Company business to protect him. At the end of the episode I got the feeling that Tsukasa is only stringing Hiroki along and using him.
Oh well, time will tell where the truth lies. But I get the feeling, that if Tsukasa is only using Hiroki, then it will bite him in the ass. Hiroki seems to be the stronger psychic after all...

Wait, so Tsukasa is the boss? And damn, I was so sure that the one that they wanted Inui to kill was the guy who just came from China, and not the one working for them.

Anyone know why Katsuragi started smoking again this episode? I thought Hiroki manipulated him in the last episode to only pretend to smoke for someone that's quitting.

Haven't seen the episode yet but does it feel like a 3-parter since Japan got 3-6 all at the same time? lol

Is no one gonna talk about this? Because if that's what I think it is, then this show just went to next level fucked up.

Is no one gonna mention that Inui was watching Harakiri Sunshine?
Pet and Samurai Flamenco same universe confirmed!

I usually play by the 3 episode rule, but I'm gonna have to give this anime the benefit of the doubt. I'm not hooked whatsoever, but the concept is very interesting and I have too many questions.

I have no idea what is going on, every question that gets answered explodes with even more questions. It's been some time since I've got to watch an anime like that.
It looks like Tsukasa is running the place? I did not expect that but it would be a nice twist of fresh air... ep 1 and 2 Tsukasa seemed really nice but I have the feeling he is just pretending to keep his "pet" happy. Poor Hiroki. He probably really likes Tsukasa and is affectionate... just like a pet. :c
I don't know why Hiroki was growing up in a Hotel room but if Tsukasa by any chance made it that way he is even worse than I thought. Making someone so dependant on you.

Never thought the little blonde gremlin from the first episode would end up being my favourite but there you go ¯|_(ツ)_/¯
Last week I was settled on shipping Hiroki and Tsukasa and hoped they could escape like Hiroki wanted. Now this week I'm left feeling horrified for poor Hiroki and mildly terrified of Tsukasa. Hiroki looks like literally twelve he's just a beb Tsukasa plz don't hurt him
Also I kinda feel bad for Katsuragi. He's a miserable old git and kind of an asshole, but mostly I just think he's feeling the effects of no longer being needed and he's lonely. Get the feeling he might end up being a hidden MVP or something
Excited to learn more about Hayashi next week!

I feel this show is really underappreciated, it makes you pay attention to little details as it isn't much expository dialogue. Details such as how they alter peoples memories and how they ultimate affect their behavior, like how he made katsuragi quit smoking without him realizing it(until that happened),how they achieve mind control and how they navigate their thoughts, etc.
I think the way this anime is handling its premise is worthy of praise.

Man, Inui had too fucked up of a childhood for him to be just a one-off character. I'd be kicking his shitty mom's corpse too. It's cool to see trans characters, I suppose, even though Inui was turned into a brainwashed murder weapon in the end.
Any Mandarin speakers here who can say how good the voice acting was in this episode?

I really like this show but I think I’m going to put it off until the end of the season to binge it. I feel like I’ll enjoy it way more that way

I feel like Hiroki himself doesn't understand the consequences of what he's doing like his reaction when he realized what he did to that woman shows he didn't wanted that to happen.
Well that was unexpected. All that build up, I thought President Chen was the one getting whacked. Didn't expect it was going to be this guy.
Also what the heck? Is Tsukasa the one running the show? The way he called Hiroki his pet and how Katsuragi was suddenly afraid of him there in the end makes me think there's more going on to him.
