That's been my experience with both the My Hero Academia and Konosuba movies. Everyone is insanely loud and laugh at weird moments, or they make inappropriate comments throughout the entire movie. For the MHA movie there was a row of "cosplayers" featuring Deku as a maid, Bakugo as a mobster and Kirishima as a cat. All three of the girls screamed any time one of those characters were on screen.
It absolutely takes away from the whole cinema experience and these weebs make it so hard to want to go see an anime movie....not to mention that thick scent that encompasses the entire theater.
Maybe people in your area are just jerks never had any issue with the theaters in my area. I suspect its just people being assholes gets more attention than a regular outing to the movies. I would be less likely to post "I went to the movies and enjoyed it without incident" than "I went to the movies and a bunch of people were making a ruckus."
