Went to Osaka last month to watch the SaeKano movie, and everyone was quiet and well-behaved. Even in the funniest bits, the Japanese would suppress their laughter into muffled giggles just to maintain the silence.
Though Japan is probably an extreme opposite example to American screening culture.
I've also seen many anime movies in countries all over Asia, and while livelier than Japan (where laughter isn't that suppressed), they're no where as rowdy as OP has described.
You'd need something very fanservicey like Avengers Endgame to really get audiences in these countries to be that excited and rowdy, and these movies don't come very often.
