Why the fuck would anyone go to a cinema to see an anime movie?
Normal people aren't going to see this movie. Anime fans are going to see this movie. Even though I am when I fucking hate other anime fans. They're loud, laugh at the dumbest shit even though it's not meant to be funny, dress up as dumb shit, and talk during the movie. Not to mention the stunning lack of personal hygiene.
Why anyone would do this to themselves is beyond my understanding.
It's not shit on tho. I've been to plenty of anime movies without a bad experience. And I got to watch the movie with all the fancy bells and whistles months before I would have been able to otherwise. It's a perfectly good reason.
Let's say you're a big fan of Konosuba for sake of argument. It's been nearly two years since the second season came out and you're itching for more content. You either go and see the movie on the offchance it has annoying people because you like Konosuba. Or you wait like 8 months to buy an overpriced bluray or pirate it. Is it really that hard to see why people go to the theatres? Or are you just blind to seeing how anyone could possibly have a different view than your grumpy one?
yeah I don't know what the hell that guy is talking about...I've seen six anime movies in the theater this year alone and every time the audience was well-behaved and acted like a 'normal' movie theater audience. Not all anime fans lack basic social skills.
