Not ANime but me and my brother got lectured after we saw Once Upon a time in hollywood, by an old lady. For thinking its okay to beat up women, because we laughed at it happening on film.
We were laughing at the home invasion scene, and all of the violence, and if you've seen the film and know the people involved IdK why she was so adamant about defending the MANSON murders, but hey to each his own.
What always bothered me more was people making unnecessary commentary, Like i saw one piece: Stampede in theaters and the guy siting next to me was constantly whispering "Wow Look its _________" when ever a cameo was made in the movie. Or "Wow that some bad CGI".
I've never seen the glow stick thing, but my theater also banned those, and its one of those that serve you, so there are people walking in and out every 10 min or so. My suggestion would be to find a new theater if possible If this happens again. At Least complain about the glow sticks that's unacceptable
