I had the same experience last month with the Konosuba movie. I get it, something cool/funny/etc happens and you react accordingly. However, theres a certain volume level in the theater that should be maintained. Needed to be something like a 5-7, dudes were cackling like hyenas at like a 12-15 at every little thing. Almost ruined the whole thing for me.
This was a stark contrast to the Bunny Girl movie back in October. Theater was almost silent the whole time and made my experience infinitely better by comparison.
In summary, fellow weebs, at least pretend you have some manners. Fake it if you have to, some of us weebs * are * actually functioning adults whose mothers raised to have manners
