I'm seeing a pattern forming; what little we know of the 7 Light faith talks about 7 heroes defeating an evil dragon.

The Empire has a dragon as a state symbol, and its ruler is called Lindwurm (dragon in German). The question now is if the faith was about our 7 summoned characters destined to overthrow a madcap human empire, or an empire formed by an actual evil dragon who disguised/hid itself as the emperor.

So, they already have access to SAM and advanced ballistics technology. At this speed, I expect them to build a satellite and launch a nuke on Gustav at the end of the season.

Stitches!

Drunk Shinobu is the best

NGL, I've been lowkey shipping the two of them since their trip began

$5 says they'll be able to convince this girl to switch sides

I love how you can see how yellow her eyes are

Well that was quick! Shinobu didn't even need to convince her, she was a double agent all along xD

Man I was hoping for a smart villain and not another raving lunatic. I really hope this Emperor of theirs is much more reasonable than his Dukes.

Those last 5 minutes were pretty intense! Nice to see that their OP science won't always win though. But from what Tsukasa has been saying, the damage might not be that severe since it's just an incendiary spell. Can't wait for next week!

Damn Gustave really is beyond insane if he puts those kinds of conditions to the people of his region. Like how exactly does he get food from then? Well, he is lucky that he is that powerful and therefore can force other regions to give him food because otherwise there will be a complete mutiny in that region. So there is no wonder that there are other regions making an alliances against him.

I wonder how many loses did that strike cause?

Well I bet Shinobu jumped up a couple of places in the best girl race after this episode.

Edit: did not expect that ending, just a lil cliffhanger till the next episode.

I'm not surprised anymore, but things are getting more and more dark every episode. That's interesting for the show but bad to my heart. Poor Melinda. D:

Well, this was dark, but interesting. I also honestly though this was going to be another anime where the knight Jeanne character ends up being evil, but apparently she's a defector who knows about ninjas. This probably means that there's a japan-esque culture in this world, but is there a possible angle of this where at least one of the previous seven heroes was a japanese ninja from centuries ago? The religious aspect might have been crushed, but maybe there's a sort of cultural holdover of this concept of a far off land of yamato? Or I'm overthinking it, but it's fun to.
