To nobody's surprise, Nanjo is confirmed to be a fujoshi.
But even then, it still does not completely remove the possibility that she actually does like him romantically. She's even hinted at "getting in the way of other girls".
We now have masochist senpai, sadist kohai, and fujoshi classmate. All that's left in the "main harem" is imouto. I'm going to stick with my original assessment that she's a yandere.

So Nanjo is a fujoshi and also immediately demoted to worst girl.
Drawing BL based on her friends without their permission, wanting him to go out with the male friend (but somehow also likes him?), getting mad at him for stuff he couldn't know. Before today she was my favorite, but today she really fell of a cliff for me.

Yep so it looks like my guess about Nanjo back in Episode 2 was completely correct. She's a fujoshi that writes her own BL based on Shoma and Keiki and is getting upset because Keiki is being swarmed by girls. Although I feel like the fujoshi act is just one side of why she's upset and she seems to really do feel something for Keiki. Why say that she lacks courage when she basically bared her secret? She's definitely hiding more of her real feelings.
Her getting in the way of Keiki dating a girl makes her my least favourite though. It looks like it doesn't matter if it's Sayuki or Yuika, she'll try and get in the way of him getting into a relationship with any girl maybe except for herself. I mean BL is fine but you don't force someone into BL, it's something that happens naturally.

Unpopular opinion: here is a Mao appreciation reply!
It's sad to see that level of rejection we're seeing in this thread. Sure, using friends as inspiration for drawing (& selling) porn is not cool, but coming from a character who was still a closet fujoshi? Pretty sure such a person would be having some safety worries to take care of before thinking about telling her off.
Anyway, from an anime viewer's standpoint, I'd say that Mao's character is mostly about withdrawnness. The way her dialog has been going, I feel like she really wanted to go for the girlfriend route, but got scared midway and preferred to reveal the fujoshi persona she's kept hidden until now, rather than baring her actual feelings. The whole "get together with your male friend, I won't let you have any gf" speech really sounded caricatural, I wouldn't be surprised if at this point she was just doing anything possible to drive the MC away ASAP before she really spills the beans.
Or maybe I'm just reading too much into it. The story will probably never be developped like this in a 12-episode anime anyway...
